Objective: Based on the Self-Determination Theory, this study examined the influences on adolescents' subjective well-being and revealed the chain mediating role of physical activity and socio-emotional competence between exercise motivation and subjective well-being.
Methods: Motives for Physical Activity Measure (MPAM-R), Subjective Well-Being Scale for Chinese Citizen (SWBS-CC20), Physical Activity Rating Scale (PARS-3), and The Delaware Social-Emotional Competency Scale (DSECS-S) were used to conduct questionnaire surveys on 1,530 junior high school students in Handan, Hebei Province. The data were statistically analyzed by using the SPSS 23.

Background: This research aims to reveal the cellular cross talk in fibrosis liver using transgenic pigs (TG) expressing humanized risk genes (PNPLA3I148M-GIPRdn-hIAPP) as a metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) model.
Methods And Results: The study uses single-nucleus sequencing to reveal the differentiation and interaction characteristics of various cell populations in the liver during the development of MASLD. After 6 months of high-fat, high-sucrose diet induction, the model pigs exhibited obvious liver pathological features, including fat deposition, inflammatory cell aggregation, fibrosis, and blocked insulin signaling pathways, similar to PNPLA3 rs738409 C>G carriers.
In the realm of 3D measurement, photometric stereo excels in capturing high-frequency details but suffers from accumulated errors that lead to low-frequency distortions in the reconstructed surface. Conversely, light field (LF) reconstruction provides satisfactory low-frequency geometry but sacrifices spatial resolution, impacting high-frequency detail quality. To tackle these challenges, we propose a photometric stereoscopic light field measurement (PSLFM) scheme that harnesses the strengths of both methods.

Postnatal establishment of enteric metabolic, host-microbial and immune homeostasis is the result of precisely timed and tightly regulated developmental and adaptive processes. Here, we show that infection with the invasive enteropathogen Typhimurium results in accelerated maturation of the neonatal epithelium with premature appearance of antimicrobial, metabolic, developmental, and regenerative features of the adult tissue. Methods: Patients with pulmonary paragonimiasis and tuberculous pleurisy were retrospectively enrolled from January 2019 to April 2023 at the Kunming Third People's Hospital and Lincang People's Hospital. There were 69 patients with pulmonary paragonimiasis (paragonimiasis group) and 89 patients with tuberculous pleurisy (tuberculosis group).

We present Target Netgrams as a visualization technique for radial layouts of graphs. Inspired by manually created target sociograms, we propose an annulus-constrained stress model that aims to position nodes onto the annuli between adjacent circles for indicating their radial hierarchy, while maintaining the network structure (clusters and neighborhoods) and improving readability as much as possible. This is achieved by having more space on the annuli than traditional layout techniques.
