Ecological resilience reflects the role of human activity intensity (HMI) on regional ecosystem services (ESs), and resilience improvement is crucial for the high-quality development of urban agglomeration areas. However, a theoretical framework for ecological resilience needs to be developed based on ES thresholds under human activities. Based on the threshold index, we used threshold regression model to determine of the nonlinear dominant factors affecting ESs and to identify the priority areas for ecological restoration.

Conventional wind speed sensors face difficulties in measuring wind speeds at multiple points, and related research on predicting rotor effective wind speed (REWS) is lacking. The utilization of a lidar device allows accurate REWS prediction, enabling advanced control technologies for wind turbines. With the lidar measurements, a data-driven prediction framework based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and gated recurrent unit (GRU) is proposed to predict the REWS.

DNA N6-adenine methylation (N6-methyladenine, 6mA) plays a key regulating role in the cellular processes. Precisely recognizing 6mA sites is of importance to further explore its biological functions. Although there are many developed computational methods for 6mA site prediction over the past decades, there is a large root left to improve.

The relationship between trait gratitude and subjective well-being is well documented in the literature. Recently, growing attention has been given to examining which factors are determinants in the relationship. However, there are no studies to present a comprehensive model of how meaning in life and self-control jointly play a role in this relationship.

Objective: The mental health of sexual minorities has received increasing attention, but there are few studies on the risk of psychotic-like experiences (PLEs) among sexual minorities. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between different sexual orientations and PLEs among college students and the moderating effect of gender.
Methods: A total of 4,460 college students from seven provinces participated in this cross-sectional survey.

Climate warming has gradually become a major problem threatening human survival, and countries have begun to pay attention to carbon emissions. Energy conservation and emission reduction has become a central task in China's economic development since the 14th Five-Year Plan. As the main force of carbon emissions in China, thermal power industry is bound to become the focus of attention in China's low-carbon development strategy and energy conservation and emission reduction.

The stiffnesses of embankments and culverts differ in the transition sections of high-speed railways (HSRs) due to their different supporting conditions. The dynamic irregularity caused by the different stiffnesses makes this transition area the weakest part of high-speed railways. Graded crushed stone combined with 5% cement is typically used to fill the subgrade in these transition areas.

Purpose: Health education services in urban public health represent a significant guarantee to improve health status, reduce fertility pressure, and uplift the living standard of the rural migrant population.
Methods: Based on the data from the 2018 China Mobility Monitoring Survey, this research paper analyzes the association between urban public health education services and the fertility intentions of the rural migrant populations.
Results: The study findings indicate that (i) the education services in urban public health demonstrate a significant positive effect on the increase in fertility intentions of the rural migrant population; (ii) further, improvement in the health status represents a crucial mechanism by which urban public health's education services influence the fertility intentions; (iii) in addition, the education services of urban public health exert a significant impact on improvement in the fertility intentions through public health consultation, promotional materials, SMS services, and face-to-face consultation; (iv) finally, urban public health's education services exhibit a significant influence on improvement in the fertility intentions of the rural migrant population with firm residence intention and low work intensity.

Prosocial behavior plays a vital role in adolescents' well-being and social functioning, with the recall of early emotional experiences being a major influence. Positive experiences such as early memories of warmth and safeness (EMWS) contribute to prosocial interpersonal characteristics, whereas adverse experiences such as child psychological abuse and neglect (CPAN) lead to social withdrawal or behavioral problems. The direct effects of EMWS and CPAN on prosocial behavior were investigated in this study, along with the mediation effect of psychological and the moderation effect of subjective socioeconomic status (SSS).

Facing the double pressure of promoting economic growth and achieving the goal of "emission peak" by 2030, China must cut down the carbon emission intensity. Focusing on the typical characteristics of China's financial system arrangement, we theoretically analyze the mechanism of vertical fiscal asymmetry affecting carbon emission intensity and use a panel data from 30 Chinese provinces to conduct an empirical examination. The results show that (1) vertical fiscal asymmetry significantly increases the local carbon emission intensity.

In the struggle to limit global climate change and rising temperatures, the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) was held in Egypt last November. Bringing together nations to recognize climate change as a global concern and to create new "building blocks" to enhance the implementation of the Paris Agreement through actions that can move the world toward a greener, and carbon free future. This study examines a panel of high-income economies from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to investigate the empirical linkage between Green Innovations (GI), Disaggregated trade (exports and imports), Environmental policy stringency (EPS), and Consumption-based carbon dioxide emissions from 1990 to 2020.

A growing body of literature suggests a link between the usage of social networking sites (SNSs) and green consumption. However, researchers have shown that not all types of SNS usage have the same effect on individuals; therefore, to fully understand the relationship between a particular SNS use type and green consumption, as well as the mechanisms underlying the relationship, more research is required. This study examined a moderated mediation model based on self-awareness theory to explain the "how" and "why" of the relationship between active SNS use and green consumption.

Economy, environment, and safety are three important components of sustainable transport. This paper proposes a productivity measurement standard that comprehensively considers economic growth, environmental impact, and safety issues, namely sustainable total factor productivity (STFP). We measure the growth rate of STFP in transport sector of OECD countries in terms of Malmquist-Luenberger productivity index by applying data envelopment analysis (DEA).
