Compared to traditional drug delivery methods, nano-based drug delivery systems (NDDSs) have the advantages of high drug loading capacity, strong targeting, low cellular toxicity, and extended circulation time in the blood.

While previous studies have established the essential role of m6A homeostasis in regulating fruit ripening, the post-transcriptional mechanisms underlying m6A-mediated quality trait formation remain poorly understood. Following our recent discovery of a YT521B homology (YTH) domain-containing m6A reader gene, SlYTH2, as a translational repressor for the production of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) aroma volatiles, we reveal here a distinct regulatory effect through knockout of SlYTH1, which specifically reduces flavor-related volatiles in tomato fruit without affecting the days from anthesis to fruit color break, ethylene production, or firmness.

Comparison of survival, function and complication between intercalary frozen autograft versus massive allograft reconstruction after malignant bone tumors resection.

Purpose: This study aims to compare the clinical outcomes of intercalary frozen autograft and allograft reconstruction for primary malignant bone tumors.

Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 144 patients who underwent intercalary biological reconstruction for primary malignant bone tumors at a single institution between January 2012 and July 2023. Seventy-two patients underwent intercalary liquid nitrogen-frozen autograft reconstruction, and 72 patients underwent intercalary allograft reconstruction in this study.

Background: Total humeral replacement (THR) is one of the few options for reconstruction when the humerus is extensively involved or with skip lesions.
