Objective: Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures, which present significant challenges in both diagnosis and treatment. Despite advances in seizure detection, existing methods often struggle with accurately capturing the complex and dynamic interactions between temporal, spatial, and spectral features of EEG signals. This leads to limitations in the detection accuracy and generalization across different datasets.

The cancer stem cell marker aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A3 (ALDH1A3) is a critical enzyme in acetaldehyde metabolism, but the interconnection to the basal-like subtype is poorly understood. Here, we identified ALDH1A3 as a key gene, which correlates with reduced survival and increased tumor growth.

We propose a hypothesis that FOXQ1 recruits p300 and BRD4 to super-enhancer regions. Our findings indicate that p300 acetylates Lys190 of FOXQ1, resulting in its recognition and binding by BRD4.

However, the performance of RS in hilar cholangiocarcinoma (HCCA) patients compared with LS remain unclear. This study aimed to compare the short- and long-term outcomes of RS versus LS in patients with HCCA.

Here, we demonstrate that RipH1 suppresses reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and triggers programmed cell death (PCD) in multiple plant species, including Nicotiana benthamiana, tomato, and Arabidopsis thaliana. Notably, RipH1 negatively regulates the pathogenicity of R.

Conventional metal oxide semiconductor sensors face challenges such as poor selectivity, high operating temperatures, and limited stability. This study addresses these limitations by developing Pt-doped ZnO nanotubes (Pt-ZnO NTs) using a coaxial electrospinning andgrowth method.

Increasing evidence reveals that multiple or prolonged exposure to ketamine causes hippocampal damage and cognitive dysfunction. However, the critical mechanisms underlying ketamine-induced neurotoxicity in the developing brain remain elusive. The present study was designed to investigate the role of GPX4 in ketamine-induced pyroptosis and cognitive dysfunction in the developing rat hippocampus.

However, the impact of insomnia on health-related outcomes among patients with MDD remains inadequately understood. This study evaluated the clinical, humanistic, and economic burden of adults with MDD with moderate-to-severe insomnia symptoms (MDDIS) compared to adults with MDD and no-or-mild insomnia symptoms (other-MDD) and adults in the general population without MDD (non-MDD).

Through comprehensive analysis, our study identifies UPK3B as a gene closely associated with low MHC expression and low immunogenicity in pancreatic cancer. UPK3B has been reported as a marker of primary mesothelial cells, mature epicardium and promotes extracellular matrix signaling.

Existing MCMC detectors, however, may even be inferior to a conventional linear minimum mean square error detector in case of nonideal factors. Moreover, they suffer high complexity, limiting their practical applications.

Increasing evidence suggests that prolonged exposure to ketamine may induce neurotoxicity in developing animals, adversely affecting their long-term cognitive function. N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is an organic sulfur compound in the Allium genus; however, the mechanisms through which it alleviates ketamine-induced neurotoxicity during developmental stages remain inadequately understood.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is highly aggressive and characterized by pronounced desmoplasia. PDAC cells communicate with cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in a paracrine/reciprocal manner, substantially promoting tumor growth and desmoplastic responses. This study highlights the critical role of anterior gradient 2 (AGR2), an endoplasmic reticulum protein disulfide isomerase, secreted by PDAC cells to activate CAFs via the Wnt signaling pathway.

In this paper, the effects of three different polysaccharides, including xanthan gum, guar gum and chitosan, on the structure, stability, and rheological properties of oleogels stabilized by octenyl succinic anhydride starch (OS) were investigated. As the concentration of these polysaccharides increased from 0.

Holographic displays have the potential to reconstruct natural light field information, making them highly promising for applications in augmented reality (AR), head-up displays (HUD), and new types of transparent three-dimensional (3D) displays. However, current spatial light modulators (SLMs) are constrained by pixel size and resolution, limiting display size. Additionally, existing holographic displays have narrow viewing angles due to device diffraction limits, algorithms, and optical configurations.

Specifically, 2D van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnetic materials retain both structural integrity and chemical stability even at the monolayer level. Moreover, due to their atomic thickness, these materials can be easily manipulated by stacking them with other 2D vdW ferroic and nonferroic materials, enabling precise control over their physical properties and expanding their functional applications.

Soy proteins have good nutritional quality and exhibit a range of useful functional attributes, making them a viable option for replacing animal proteins in the development of more sustainable and eco-friendly plant-based food products. Nevertheless, soy proteins are prone to denaturation and/or aggregation under conditions they encounter in some food and beverage products (including certain pH, ionic, and thermal conditions), which adversely impact their functional performance. This problem can often be overcome by covalently (conjugation) or noncovalently (complexation) linking the soy proteins to polysaccharides or polyphenols, thereby expanding their application scope.

Based on the life cycle method and process analysis, this study analyzes carbon emissions in excavation engineering by optimizing the evaluation model for fuel consumption standards of freight vehicles during the transportation phase in China. To account for the difference between actual and rated fuel consumption of transport vehicles, factors such as road conditions, traffic congestion, and temperature are introduced to adjust the carbon emission calculation model for the transportation phase.
