Magneto-optical effects serve as powerful tools for probing magnetic order and spin-related couplings, yet anisotropic spin-phonon coupling in low-dimensional systems remains underexplored. Here, we uncover an anisotropic magneto-optical Raman response in the A-type van der Waals antiferromagnet CrSBr, where intrinsic lattice anisotropy and quasi-one-dimensional magnetism enable anisotropic spin-phonon interactions. Using polarization- and angle-resolved Raman spectroscopy, we identify that the ratio |/| of the mode's Raman tensor elements undergoes a dramatic change across the Néel temperature, serving as a hallmark of the paramagnetic-to-antiferromagnetic phase transition.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of introducing varying percentages (10-50 %) of milk protein concentrate (MPC) on the physicochemical characteristics and in vitro digestibility of fermentation-induced mung bean protein (MBP) gels. The results indicated that the storage modulus (G'), hardness, and chewiness of the MBP/MPC hybrid yogurt gel initially increased and then reduced with rising MPC levels. The MBP/MPC gel with a composition of 30 % MPC and 70 % MBP exhibited the highest G' and water-holding capacity (WHC) as well as the most uniform and dense network structure.

A high-sensitivity hot-wire anemometer is proposed for use with a cobalt-doped fiber (CDF) based long-period grating (LPG) heated optically by a 1480 nm laser. The CDF-LPG absorbs laser power and generates heat inherently, thereby eliminating the need for both metal coating and mode coupling devices that are usually required in optical fiber grating anemometers. The dip wavelength of the CDF-LPG shifts with airflow velocity due to the cooling effect of the airflow.

Humans and predators occupy dominant positions in ecosystems and are generally believed to play a decisive role in maintaining ecosystem stability, particularly in the context of virus transmission.
