High-sensitivity measurements of the microwave electric field are important in applications of communication and metrology. The sensitivity of traditional Rydberg superheterodyne receivers in free space is effectively determined by the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), which is often considered equivalent to sensitivity in practical sensing applications. In this work, we demonstrate a cavity-enhanced receiver, where an optical cavity significantly amplifies the interaction between the probe light and cesium atoms, which substantially improves the signal-to-noise ratio via enhancing the expansion coefficient .

We propose schemes for generating quantum squeezing and enhancing entanglement in an opto-magnomechanical configuration by periodically modulating the driving field. The system consists of an optical cavity and a ferrimagnetic yttrium-iron-garnet micro-bridge supporting a magnon mode and a mechanical vibration mode, in which the mechanical mode couples to the optical mode and the magnon mode via radiation pressure and magnetostrictive interaction, respectively. The optical mode and the magnon mode are driven by classical fields, and the amplitude of the laser field driving the optical cavity is periodically modulated.

Objective: The investigation of the correlation between ecological factors and the genetic characteristics or metabolites of plants offers valuable insights into the regional causes of genetic and metabolic diversity. Here, , a medicinal plant, is employed as a model to explore the environmental factors that influence its genetic characteristics and metabolic accumulations.
Methods: A total of 23 populations from six cultispecies and 11 cultivated regions were selected based on the predictions of the global geographic information system.
Triterpenoids are the bioactive components in with extensive medicinal prospects, but their low content in fermentation production is the main limiting factor for their application. This study focuses on nitric oxide (NO), an important signaling molecule within organisms, aiming to explore its inducing effect on the synthesis of triterpenes in and the potential signaling transduction mechanisms involved. Compared with the control group, the content of representative triterpenoid betulin increased by 70.

Xanthine oxidase (XOD) was employed as a biological activity indicator, while receptor-ligand UF-LC/MS (ultrafiltration affinity liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) technology was applied to screen and identify compounds with potential anti-gout properties. Additionally, molecular docking and dynamic simulations were performed with a common gout receptor (PDB ID: 1FIQ) to investigate the mechanism of action and assess the stability of the interactions.

An in-depth study, however, is required to assess the degree of ablation during the clinical dissemination of the treatment. In this study, we propose and validate a method to evaluate the degree of IRE by measuring the impedance spectra of tissues before and after pulsed electric field treatment.

The primary purpose of the current study was to examine the role of PER as a potential mediator between SFA and SA among Chinese adolescents; moreover, the moderation effect of gender was investigated. A total of 2,755 Chinese adolescents ranging in age from 11 to 19 years old with an average age of 14.

Background: After intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), the formation of primary hematoma foci leads to the development of secondary brain injury factors such as perihematomal edema (PHE) and accumulation of toxic metabolites, which severely affect the survival and prognosis of patients. The intracerebral lymphatic system, proposed by Jeffrey J. Iliff et al.

Herein, a dual-emitting CsPbBr/Si-1:Eu composite was successfully prepared by simultaneous encapsulation of CsPbBr PQDs and EuBr through a one-step thermal diffusion method. Partial destruction of the five-membered rings in silicalite-1 (Si-1) zeolite resulted from the PbBr etching effect at high temperatures that enhances the bonding formation between Eu and Si-OH, leading to the grafting of Eu onto the Si-1 zeolite framework.

Urushiol is recognized as a sustainable coating material with superior properties; however, it faces significant challenges in applications such as petrochemicals and marine engineering due to surface oil contamination. This study aimed to enhance the cleanability of urushiol-based coatings through hydrophilic modification. Polyethylene glycol monooleate (PEGMO) was identified as an appropriate hydrophilic macromonomer and utilized as a modifier to develop a novel urushiol-based coating, termed P(U-PEGMO), via thermal curing.

Here, benefiting from the rapid and short diffusion paths within the nanosized silicalite-1 (N-Si-1) zeolite (∼40 nm) channels, CsPbBr PQDs encapsulated within N-Si-1 show a high dispersion with an ultrasmall particle size of ∼2.38 nm and a blue emission of 474 nm with a high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 44.

Excessive accumulation of white adipose tissue leads to metabolic disorders, and the excessive differentiation of preadipocytes into white adipocytes is one of the contributing factors to obesity. The browning of white adipocytes has been regarded as a promising therapeutic strategy. To analyze the origins and potential solutions for obesity from a fundamental perspective, we employed atomic force microscopy, and Raman confocal microscopy to investigate and characterize multidimensional information regarding the differentiation process of 3 T3-L1 preadipocyte models into white adipocytes and their subsequent browning into beige adipocytes.
