The core mechanism of stress-resilient and growth-enhancing seed coating and pelleting technology involves applying a multifunctional protective layer to seeds with liquid or powder coating agents. This layer enhances seed resilience to environmental stressors, making the technology a promising tool for ecological restoration. We reviewed the theoretical basis and development of the technology, including seed coating principles, the selection and optimization of active and inert materials, and composite coatings, and advances in pelleting techniques.

Objectives: To explore the prognostic value of eight inflammation-nutrition biomarkers in patients with lung cancer and tuberculosis as no multidimensional prognostic models for this comorbid population are available currently.
Methodology: A retrospective study included 100 patients with lung cancer and tuberculosis admitted to a tertiary hospital from October 2019 to October 2024. Eight inflammation-nutrition markers (NLR, PLR, SII, LMR, PNI, HALP, HRR, ALB/GLB) were chosen as predictors while overall survival (OS) was the major event.
Alkaline hydrolysis of the resin glycoside fractions of Convolvulus tricolor and Ipomoea biflora yielded three glycosidic acids (1-3). Contrilic acid A (1), a hexasaccharide glycosidic acid with a 3S,11S-dihydroxytetradecanoic acid as the aglycone, was isolated from Convolvulus tricolor, while a tetrasaccharide ipomofic acid A (2) and pentasaccharide operculinic acid A (3) were obtained from Ipomoea biflora, and were identified to possess a 11S-hydroxyhexadecanoic acid as the aglycone. Their structures were thoroughly established by the spectroscopic data and chemical evidences.

Investigating immune-critical genes and their biological functions in the adipose tissue of postmenopausal obese women is crucial for elucidating the underlying mechanisms of immune dysregulation associated with obesity. In this study, microarray (GSE151839) and single-cell RNA-seq (GSE176171) datasets were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO).

Mixed methods systematic reviews of acupuncture (MMSR-A) adopts PICOS and SPIDER to formulate the questions; the research objects are expanded to qualitative and mixed studies. This mixed methods use the mixed methods appraisal tool (MMAT) for the methodology quality evaluation or the quality assessment tool of the Joanna Briggs Institue (JBI), and a variety of mixed analytic methods.

Resin glycosides, the characteristic constituents of family Convolvulaceae, are a kind of new and complex glycolipids with diversified biological activities. In the present study, the ethanolic extract of Convolvulus tricolor seeds were purified by various separation methods, leading to the isolation of seven new resin glycosides (1-7). Their structures were established as glycosidic acids methyl esters by extensive spectroscopic analyses and chemical evidences, and were considered to be generated via methyl esterification of natural resin glycosides during the NH silica gel chromatography.

However, its high cost limits its accessibility in low- and middle-income countries. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of grapefruit juice combined with low-dose venetoclax and azacitidine as a feasible cost-reduction strategy.

Objective: The choroid plexus (CP) has gained renewed attention for its role in waste clearance in neurodegenerative disorders. However, its involvement in progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate CP volume changes in patients with PSP compared to Parkinson's disease (PD), and explore its relationship with tau deposition in PSP patients.

Initially, we employ COMSOL software to design a MIMO mobile terminal antenna that meets 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G communication requirements. Through adding the decoupling unit, its geometric area reduces from 58 × 120 mm² to 44 × 80 mm², and its simulations and measurements indicate that the miniaturized MIMO mobile terminal antenna exhibits good radiation performance.

Methods: A total of 294 participants were included from two centers (30 PD-NC, 86 PD-MCI, 76 U-MCI, and 102 healthy controls (HC)). Comparisons of hippocampal subfield volumes were conducted among groups.
Alzheimer's disease (AD) and osteoporosis (OP) are both age-related multifactorial degenerative diseases that share overlapping pathogenic mechanisms. While genetic factors contribute significantly to their onset and progression, environmental influences also play a crucial role. However, identifying the shared environmental factors and genetic architecture underlying the co-pathogenesis of AD and OP remains a significant challenge.

The aim of this study was to investigate whether NLR can serve as a biomarker for adverse outcomes and prognostic value in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). This was a retrospective analysis of 666 consecutive patients with DCM who were admitted to our center for the first time.

Targeting the biosynthetic pathway of mycolic acid is highly attractive to researchers in the field of novel anti-tubercular drug development. Pks13-TE is an essential catalytic component in the last assembling step of mycolic acid, and the co-crystal structures of the Pks13-TE-inhibitor complex provide insight into ligand recognition. Based on a structure-guided strategy, N-aryl indole derivatives were designed, synthesized, and evaluated for their antitubercular activities.

However, the differences and key influencing factors of phytoplankton communities in shallow lakes dominated by different aquatic plants are unclear. On this basis, nine surveys were conducted at five sampling sites of three lakes in Zhangye National Wetland Park from June to November in 2022, which were respectively dominated by the emergent (LL), the submerged (CL), and the floating-leaved (SL).
