Self-driven photodetectors (SDPDs) convert photon energy into electrical signals without an external bias, making them ideal for low-power optoelectronic systems. Two-dimensional materials (2DMs) offer promising platforms due to their unique properties. However, current SDPD designs face challenges: the lack of stable doping methods and the complicated 2DMs multilayer stacking techniques pose tremendous difficulties for 2DMs to adopt the same device structures (i.

The transcription factor MSX1, typically expressed in early development but not in most adult tissues, is often re-activated in various cancers, although its underlying oncogenic mechanisms remain elusive. Here, we found that MSX1 promotes the degradation of FBXW7, an E3 ligase and tumor suppressor, through the CDK1-mediated phosphorylation of MSX1 at Ser136. The phosphorylation mimic MSX1 S136D mutant, but not the dephosphorylated S136A mutant, degrades FBXW7 and results in the accumulation of its substrates, including c-MYC and MCL1, ultimately leading to gastric cancer growth and resistance to apoptosis.

Gastric cancer peritoneal metastasis (GCPM) typically indicates a poor clinical prognosis and is frequently observed in diffuse gastric cancer (GC) patients with CDH1 loss of function. GCPM characterized for its aggressiveness and resistance to chemotherapy, most notably paclitaxel (PTX), poses significant treatment challenges. Previously, no mouse gastric adenocarcinoma (MGA) cell lines with Trp53 (encoding mouse p53) and Cdh1 (encoding mouse E-cadherin) mutations and a high potential for peritoneal metastasis in mice have been established.

Background: Patients discharged after acute coronary syndrome experience a high risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) within the first 6 months. We examined whether a quality of care improvement initiative implemented in hospitals affects clinical preventive management and outcomes after discharge.

Methods: We used data from the third phase of the CPACS-3 study (Clinical Pathways for Acute Coronary Syndromes in China), a large stepped wedge- and cluster-randomized trial conducted from 2011 to 2015, to evaluate the effectiveness of an in-hospital quality of care improvement program on the composite score of preventive medication use and the risk of MACE in 6 months after discharge among acute coronary syndrome survivors.
