As a core process in the coal chemical industry, entrained-flow gasification technology promotes clean energy conversion by efficiently producing syngas. In industrial applications, radiant syngas cooler (RSC) is usually adopted to recover high-temperature syngas and slag waste heat from the gasifier outlet to improve system heat utilization. However, the ash deposition and slagging behavior in RSC can lead to a decrease in heat transfer efficiency and limited production capacity, becoming a key bottleneck, restricting technological development.

Background: Diuretic resistance (DR) is characterized by insufficient fluid and sodium excretion enhancement despite maximum loop diuretic doses, indicating a phenotype of refractory heart failure (HF). Recently, metabolomics has emerged as a crucial tool for diagnosing and understanding the pathogenesis of various diseases. This study aimed to differentiate diuretic-resistant patients from non-resistant HF to identify biomarkers linked to the emergence of DR.

In this study, we utilized the freeze-drying method to fabricate PVA grinding wheels, optimizing both the manufacturing process and the structure of the porous composite materials. The results demonstrate that phenolic resin (PF) participates in constructing a hydrogen-bonded network with PVA and pure terephthalic acid (PTA), which synergistically enhances the esterification efficiency between PTA and PVA.

Pyrolysis technology offers a promising approach for recovering high-value products from RWTB. In this study, the pyrolysis kinetic behavior of RWTB was investigated using three kinetic models (KAS, FWO, Miura) and the isoconversional method, based on thermogravimetric (TG) analysis at four heating rates.

Utilizing these elements to synthesize molecular sieve materials for CO capture is of great significance. In this paper, to fully utilize the elements in CGFS, X-type and MCM-41-type molecular sieves were synthesized through activated hydrothermal and microwave treatment of the solid residue after alkali fusion and the silica source filtrate, respectively.

Ischaemic stroke is a large disease burden worldwide. Thrombolysis and thrombectomy are the main treatment methods for cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. Luteolin, as a flavonoid compound, has an antagonistic effect on inflammation, oxidative stress, and tumorigenesis in disease.

Traditional diagnostic methods for multifunction vehicle bus (MVB) faults often depend on feature extraction and classification, which typically require substantial expert experience and frequently yield low accuracy. To address this limitation, this paper introduces a MVB fault diagnosis method utilizing convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Initially, the method employs short-time Fourier transform (STFT) to convert the original vibration signals of MVB under various fault conditions into time-frequency images.

In the exploration of reducing myocardial I/R injury, it is found that protecting myocardial mitochondrial function after reperfusion not only reduces ROS bursts but also inhibits cell apoptosis triggered by the release of cytochrome c. Additionally, nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) is considered a potential therapeutic target for treating myocardial I/R injury by enhancing the cellular antioxidant capacity through the induction of endogenous antioxidant enzymes.

Background: The main surgical interventions for chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH) include craniotomy for hematoma evacuation, neuroendoscopic hematoma evacuation, and burr hole drainage. However, elderly patients often present with significant comorbidities, which limit their ability to tolerate general anesthesia and invasive surgical procedures.Minimally invasive soft-channel drainage under local anesthesia has emerged as a viable alternative, particularly suitable for elderly patients or those with high surgical risk.

The capture of CO by porous materials is an effective method for reducing CO emissions from industrial sources. In this work, the effective separation of residual carbon and ash from CGFS was achieved by froth flotation.

In recent years, breakthroughs in tumour immunotherapy have led to immune checkpoint inhibitors becoming a new class of clinical oncology drugs. Programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) play significant roles in inhibiting T cell responses and tumour immune escape.

Introduction And Objective: His bundle pacing (HBP) could replace failed biventricular pacing (BVP) in guidelines (IIa Indication), but the high capture thresholds and backup lead pacing requirements limit its development. We assessed the efficacy and safety of HBP combined with atrioventricular node ablation (AVNA) for atrial fibrillation (AF) and compared with BVP and left bundle branch pacing (LBBP).
Methods: We reviewed PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases on left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), New York Heart Association (NYHA) score, QRS duration (QRSd), and pacing threshold.
