The ability to control electron motion with light fields represents a transformative frontier in modern physics, enabling dynamic manipulation of material properties at ultrafast timescales. Yet, the complex interplay between light and excited carriers-via mechanisms such as the AC Stark effect, field-induced coupling of excitonic and Bloch states, the dynamical Franz-Keldysh effect, and the ponderomotive effect-continues to challenge our understanding of quantum systems driven far from equilibrium. Here, we establish non-collinear harmonic spectroscopy as a powerful technique for initiating, tracking, and steering femtosecond carrier dynamics across the energy landscape in the dielectric SiO crystal.

In this multi-laboratory study, we investigated the concordance of HER2 immunohistochemistry (IHC) examination through manual and artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted interpretation.
Methods: A tissue microarray (TMA) comprising 53 breast cancer samples was constructed and distributed to 35 participating laboratories.
Background: Pressure ulcers are a common and serious complication in neurosurgical patients, primarily due to prolonged immobility. Effective prevention is essential to improving patient outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of bundled care interventions in reducing the incidence of pressure ulcers and improving quality of life and nursing satisfaction in neurosurgical patients.

Notably, diacytochalasin A (1) was the first cytochalasin discovered that features a unique 5/5/11 fused tricyclic ring system. The structures and absolute configurations of the four compounds were elucidated by performing comprehensive spectroscopic analyses and by examining their experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra.

Objective: This study aims to assess the current status of palliative care knowledge and identify the factors influencing it among healthcare workers in mental health institutions. The goal is to establish a scientific foundation for advancing palliative care practices in mental health settings.
Methods: From August to September 2024, a survey was conducted to assess psychiatric nurses' knowledge of palliative care.
Background And Aims: Tegoprazan, a new class of drugs, is a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) that inhibits gastric H+/K+-ATPase through a different mechanism than proton pump inhibitor. Tetracycline also has anti-Helicobacter pylori properties. However, only a few randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have investigated the efficacy of tegoprazan and tetracycline-containing quadruple therapy (TTQT) for treating H.

However, the reliance on fat thresholds may result in the omission of some critical information. Thus, this study aimed to explore the diagnostic potential of a novel method, pericoronary adipose tissue mean attenuation (PCAT), which is not constrained by fat threshold limitations, by investigating the relationships among PCAT, the FAI, and coronary artery plaque types.

Purpose: Constructing a multiple mediation model based on two mediating variables, social support and self-efficacy, to explore the mechanism of health literacy's effect on decisional conflict in patients with stable schizophrenia.
Patients And Methods: A total of 205 patients with stable schizophrenia who were hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital in Guangdong Province, China, were selected for the study. The All Aspects of Health Literacy Scale (AAHLS), Decisional Conflict Scale (DCS), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) and General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) were used to evaluate health literacy, decisional conflict, social support and self-efficacy.
Objective: To develop and compare various preoperative cervical stromal invasion (CSI) prediction models, including radiomics, three-dimensional (3D) deep transfer learning (DTL), and integrated models, using single-sequence and multiparametric MRI.
Methods: Data from 466 early-stage endometrial carcinoma (EC) patients from three centers were collected. Radiomics models were constructed based on T2-weighted imaging (T2WI), diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) mapping, contrast-enhanced T1-weighted imaging (CE-T1WI), and four combined sequences as well as 3D DTL models.
Rationale And Objectives: Evaluating the capability of CT nomograms and CT-based radiomics nomograms to differentiate between Bronchiolar Adenoma (BA) and Early-stage Lung Adenocarcinoma (LUAD).
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective study; we analyzed data from 226 patients who were treated at our institution and pathologically confirmed to have either BA or Early-stage LUAD. Patients were randomly divided into a training cohort (n=158) and a testing cohort (n=68).
Objective: To explore the effect of Gegen Qinlian Decoction (GQD) combined with dietary management in the treatment of patients with Type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and metabolic syndrome (MetS) (T2DM MetS).
Methods: This is a retrospective analysis of 102 cases of T2DM in the Brain Hospital of Hunan Province, China from April 2020 to February 2023. Of them, 49 patients received conventional drug treatment (control group), and 53 patients received GQD combined with dietary management on the basis of conventional drugs (observation group).

High-order harmonic generation (HHG) in condensed matter is highly important for potential applications in various fields, such as materials characterization, all-optical switches, and coherent light source generation. Linking HHG to the properties or dynamic processes of materials is essential for realizing these applications. Here, a bridge has been built between HHG and the transient properties of materials through the engineering of interband polarization in a photoexcited three-dimensional Dirac semimetal (3D-DSM).

In this work, we employ time- and energy-resolved photoemission electron microscopy to reveal the ultrafast carrier dynamics of PdSe with different layer thicknesses. We find that for few-layer PdSe with a semiconductor phase, an ultrafast hot carrier cooling on a timescale of approximately 0.

, known for its extensive history in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is valued for its therapeutic properties. Recent studies have identified its anticancer capabilities, yet the mechanisms underlying these properties remain to be fully elucidated. In this study, we determined that a mixture of four cistanche-derived phenylethanoid glycosides (CPhGs), echinacoside, acteoside, 2-acetylacteoside, and cistanoside A, which are among the main bioactive compounds in , eliminated T-cell lymphoma (TCL) cells by inducing apoptosis and pyroptosis and attenuated tumor growth in a xenograft mouse model.

Exploring ultrafast carrier dynamics is crucial for the materials' fundamental properties and device design. In this work, we employ time- and energy-resolved photoemission electron microscopy with tunable pump wavelengths from visible to near-infrared to reveal the ultrafast carrier dynamics of the elemental semiconductor tellurium. We find that two discrete sub-bands around the Γ point of the conduction band are involved in excited-state electron ultrafast relaxation and reveal that hot electrons first go through ultrafast intra sub-band cooling on a time scale of about 0.

The incidence of endometrial adenocarcinoma (EA) has increased worldwide in recent years due to the widespread use of estrogen therapy and the overall increase in life expectancy. However, we know of no sensitive molecular index that can be used to predict the onset of EA, evaluate the therapeutic effects of treatment agents, or provide prognostic benefit in post-treatment follow-up. To explore the correlation between human olfactomedin 4 (OLFM4) and the clinicopathologic parameters of EA, and to determine the precise involvement of OLFM4 as a related factor in the occurrence and development of EA.
