Objective: The study aimed to explore factors influencing Chinese medical students' career choices, especially in choosing child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP) as their specialty.

Method: A 23-item online survey was conducted among third-year medical students at Peking University Health Science Center to explore the factors currently influencing their career choices, as well as their preferences and factors that influence the choice of CAP as a career specialty. Their preferences for CAP-focused curricula were also surveyed.

Pure-halide reduced-dimensional perovskites, featuring large exciton binding energy and tunable bandgap, show great potential for high-efficiency deep-blue perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). However, their efficiency, particularly in the low n-value phase domain ("n" represents the number of octahedral sheets), lags behind analogous perovskite emitters. Herein, it is demonstrated that the vibration of edge-dangling octahedra in the low n-value phase activates notorious exciton-phonon (EP) coupling, thereby deteriorating efficiency.

Reinforced concrete (RC) is the result of a combination of steel reinforcing rods (which have high tensile) and concrete (which has high compressive strength). Additionally, the prediction of long-term deformations of RC flexural structures and the magnitude of the influence of the relevant material and geometric parameters are important for evaluating their serviceability and safety throughout their life cycles.   In this study, a novel composite containing an iron based metal-organic framework (MOF) and BiOBr was successfully synthesized by a simple method, and was fully characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns, Fourier transform infrared spectra, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra, and transmission electron microscopy. Moreover, the photocatalytic activities of BiOBr/MIL-88B(Fe) composites and the pure materials were evaluated by measuring the degradation of Rhodamine B under visible light. The results show that the composite exhibits better photocatalytic activities than pure materials, which can be ascribed to the high adsorption capacity of MIL-88B(Fe) and the enhanced separation of photogenerated charge carriers from assembly of MIL-88B(Fe) on BiOBr.

In this study, a novel core-shell Fe3O4@MIL-101 (MIL stands for Materials of Institute Lavoisier) composite was successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method and was fully characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectra, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The composite was introduced as a catalyst to generate powerful radicals from persulfate for the removal of Acid Orange 7 in an aqueous solution.
