Panicle architecture is largely determined by meristem activity. This previous study shows that DNA binding with one finger (Dof) transcription factor Short Panicle 3 (SP3) regulates panicle architecture. However, the molecular mechanisms of SP3 controlling panicle architecture remain largely unknown.

These environmental factors can disrupt the body's biochemical mechanisms and neural functions, which may increase the risk of mental health issues in affected individuals. Depression, anxiety, and loneliness are common mental health conditions.

Although mRNA display technology has advanced the discovery of covalent peptide binders, it has primarily focused on cysteine residues, thereby limiting the diversity of targetable proteins. In this study, we ribosomally incorporated 4-fluorosulfonyloxy-l-phenylalanine (FSY) into macrocyclic peptides, enabling the construction of a diverse covalent macrocyclic peptide library for de novo screening against human α-thrombin and fibroblast activation protein.

Salt-dried squid fillets (SDSF) is a popular seafood product. In this study, the effect of different NaCl concentrations (0 %, 1 %, 5 % and 10 %) on the color, formaldehyde (FA) and volatile compounds (VOCs) of SDSF was investigated by determining the acid value (AV), thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) value, lipid-related enzyme activities and lipidomics. These findings showed that the AV and TBARS value initially increased and subsequently decreased with increasing NaCl concentrations.

In the present research, two plastic organic-inorganic hybrid phase transition materials: [CHNF]FeCl () and [CHNF]FeBr () were successfully synthesized by the H/F substitution strategy. Significant step-like dielectric changes were observed during the reversible phase transitions of (401 K) and (406 K).

In this study, a novel additive agent lipid-Maillard reaction products (L-MRPs) was optimized by response surface methodology, then the main antioxidant components of L-MRPs were identified. Finally, L-MRPs was applied to the drying process of squid fillets (LMSF) by comparing with the control group.

Aim: The American Heart Association (AHA) proposed Life's Essential 8 score (LE8) in 2022 as a new metric for cardiovascular health (CVH). This study investigated the association between the LE8 score and the development of carotid artery plaque.
Methods: Data were drawn from the Asymptomatic Polyvascular Abnormalities Community (APAC) cohort study.
Using UHPLC-HRMS-based lipidomics, this study investigated lipid nutrition in Pacific oysters (C. gigas) under two depuration conditions-normal temperature and salinity (N group) and low temperature with high salinity (S group)-during a five-day anhydrous living-preservation period. Quantitative analysis of 927 lipid molecular species across 13 classes revealed that oysters in the S group retained higher levels of glycerolipids, phospholipids, and functional fatty acids (DHA, EPA, and AA) after preservation.

Specifically, the 2D flower-like Co/Mo-MOF with mesoporous alleviated the aggregation of CdS NPs while simultaneously fostering reactant-active site contact and improving the reactant-product transport rate. This allowed the material to act as a novel co-reaction accelerator, speeding up the transformation of the SO into SO and enhancing the cathodic ECL emission of g-CN.

Initially, different lipid-Maillard reaction (MR) models were conducted based on the composition of squid (lipids, reducing sugars and amino acids). The degree of MR as well as α-dicarbonyl compounds (α-DCs) and lipid oxidation-mediated browning products (pyrroles and lipofuscin-like pigments) were detected.

Trabecular meshwork (TM) tissue has a crucial role in regulating aqueous humor circulation in the eye, thus maintaining normal intraocular pressure (IOP). TM dysfunction causes IOP elevation, which leads to glaucoma. To investigate biological changes in TM tissue in patients with glaucoma, we analyzed the mRNA expression microarray dataset, GSE27276.

Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) can only be cured through the excision of all metastatic lesions, but current clinical practice fails to localize the disease in 29% to 60% of patients. Previously, we developed a fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI)-based covalent targeted radioligand (CTR) for improved detection sensitivity and accuracy. In this first-in-class clinical trial, we head-to-head compared [68Ga]Ga-CTR-FAPI PET-CT and [18F]fluorodeoxyglucose ([18F]FDG) PET-CT in 50 patients with MTC.
