Deep ultraviolet (DUV) nanophotonic technologies are of vital importance for applications in biomedical sensing, advanced lithography, light sources, and optoelectronic devices. Plasmonic nanostructures with DUV resonance properties can generate highly confined optical fields. They therefore have great potential in amplifying spectral signals from molecules with intense vibronic transitions in the DUV region and improving the sensitivity of solar-blind detection.

Nonetheless, zinc anodes are associated with some irreversible issues, Zn, which significantly restrict the endurance of aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs). This study adds a multifunctional electrolyte additive Ce(NO) to a 3 m ZnSO₄ electrolyte to addressed these challenges.

The liver is very important in preserving physiological homeostasis via its immune response, detoxification, and metabolism functions. A multitude of factors, such as alcohol, can detrimentally impact liver function, resulting in acute or chronic liver injury, which may subsequently progress to liver cancer. Liver diseases comprise a broad range of disorders primarily characterized by damage to hepatocytes, inflammatory cell infiltration, and hepatic stellate cells activation.

However, research on predicting the risk of DM in GBC patients is still limited. Therefore, this study aimed to apply the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database with machine learning (ML) methods to construct a novel model for predicting the risk of DM in GBC patients.

The effector functions of CD8 T cell significantly influence the immunosuppressive microenvironment in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), which is intricately associated with HCC prognosis. Nevertheless, a comprehensive investigation into the relationship between CD8 T cell immune-related genes and HCC prognosis remains lacking. This study aimed to construct a prognostic model for HCC using CD8 T cell immune-related genes to provide insights for clinical management and prognosis.

Background: We report the first case of single-port robotic liver tumour resection in a patient with recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma in the right anterior lobe of the liver.
Methods: A 65-year-old male with recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma in the right anterior lobe underwent robotic liver tumour resection using the EDGE SP1000, a single-port laparoscopic surgical robot. The procedure involved resection of a 2.
Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a progressive immune-mediated inflammatory liver disease. Recent studies have highlighted the association between intestinal barrier dysfunction and chronic liver diseases, but the specific role of intestinal barrier dysfunction in AIH remains unclear and needs to be elucidated. β-arrestin2, a multifunctional scaffolding protein, has been reported to be involved in various hepatic disorders, such as acute liver injury and liver fibrosis.

Cluster analysis is a popular multivariate technique employed in metabolomics to characterise observations with similar features. Previous work in the field has applied hard clustering approaches to group observations into distinct clusters.

Image-based virtual try-on aims to fit garments onto a target person accurately and naturally while preserving the textural details of the garment. Inspired by the dynamic perception process of the human visual system, which transitions from global perception to local details, we propose a novel multigrained adaptive fusion network for virtual try-on framework named MA-VITON. MA-VITON precisely aligns clothing semantic features with human body parts across different scales, reduces unrealistic textures caused by garment distortion, and employs coarse-to-fine clothing features to progressively guide the generation of try-on results.

The main difficulty lies in the deep anatomical position of the caudate lobe, which is closely adjacent to the first and second hepatic ports and the inferior vena cava, increasing the risk of major bleeding during surgery. In addition to a thorough understanding of the anatomy of the caudate lobe tumor, comprehensive imaging assessment, and three-dimensional reconstruction, the flexible choice of surgical approach is also key to reducing surgical difficulty and improving safety.

Leveraging real-time eye tracking, foveated rendering optimizes hardware efficiency and enhances visual quality virtual reality (VR). This approach leverages eye-tracking techniques to determine where the user is looking, allowing the system to render high-resolution graphics only in the foveal region-the small area of the retina where visual acuity is highest, while the peripheral view is rendered at lower resolution. However, modern deep learning-based gaze-tracking solutions often exhibit a long-tail distribution of tracking errors, which can degrade user experience and reduce the benefits of foveated rendering by causing misalignment and decreased visual quality.
