Medicinal plant underground diseases, typified by root rot, directly result in a significant reduction in both the yield and quality of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) because of its hidden occurrence and difficulty in prevention and control. Prevention and control measures depending on chemical pesticides bring potential risks to the safety of TCM and easily cause environmental pollution. The introduction of the new version of Good Agricultural Practice for Chinese Crude Drugs(GAP) and the enhancement of pesticide residue limit standards for TCM and decoction pieces in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2025 edition) have elevated the requirements for green and efficient disease prevention and control technologies of TCM.

Aim: This study aimed to systematically review Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) for nutritional management of dementia and use evidence mapping to highlight research trends and identify gaps to inform future research.
Design: A systematic review of guidelines using the PRISMA statement.
Methods: Systematically collect literature on dementia management CPGs from PubMed, Embase, Web of Science and guideline databases.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the impact of different mechanical ventilation strategies on pulmonary plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) expression in a rat model.
Methods: Seventy-two specific pathogen-free (SPF) adult male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly assigned to four groups (n = 18): Group C (spontaneous breathing), group S (low tidal volume, VT = 6 mL/kg), group R (regular tidal volume, VT = 10 mL/kg), and group L (high tidal volume, VT = 40 mL/kg). Each group was further divided into three subgroups based on mechanical ventilation duration (2, 4, or 6 h).
We report an efficient one-pot, three-component synthesis of ferrocenyl-substituted allylamine derivatives with α-(hydroxy) alkyl ferrocenes, aldehydes and amines. The advantages of this method are its catalyst-free nature, broad substrate scope, operational simplicity and mild reaction conditions. The origin of this one-pot synthesis of ferrocenyl-substituted allylamine derivatives was explored through density functional theory calculations.

Methods: A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, and 301 valid questionnaires were finally collected. The research tools included a general information questionnaire and a death-coping self-efficacy questionnaire to collect nurses' demographic information.
Background: The global public health crisis caused by COVID-19 in late 2019 was unprecedented. Due to their vulnerable population, nursing homes are a key epidemic response area. This study described the challenges and coping strategies of nursing home staff during COVID-19 and proposed recommendations for future public health crises in nursing homes.

However, its involvement in cancer, particularly lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), remains poorly understood. Our study reveals that RSL1D1 expression is significantly upregulated in LUAD and high levels of RSL1D1 are associated with poorer survival outcomes in LUAD patients.

Despite the development of clinical advances, the prognosis of HCC patients remains very poor, and beneficial therapeutic strategies are urgently needed. Macrophage pyroptosis plays an important role in sepsis-induced ALI, takes part in the regulation of the inflammatory response, and affects the damage and repair of lung tissue.
Purpose: This study attempts to reveal the protective mechanism of Ophiopogonin C against fatal sepsis induced ALI.
Background: Remimazolam, a novel ultra-short-acting benzodiazepine, is a potential sedative for non-general anesthesia surgery in the elderly. This study aimed to investigate the appropriate sedative dosage of remimazolam and its effects on perioperative cognitive function in elderly patients undergoing non-general anesthesia surgery.
Methods: This multicenter, placebo-controlled trial enrolled 330 elderly patients undergoing non-general anesthesia procedures at eight centers in China from July 2021 to February 2022, with 238 ultimately completing the study.

This study investigates the effect and underlying mechanism of Guizhi Tongluo Tablets(GZTL) in treating atherosclerosis(AS) in a mouse model. Apolipoprotein E-knockout(ApoE~(-/-)) mice were randomly assigned to the following groups: model, high-, medium-, and low-dose GZTL, and atorvastatin(ATV), and age-matched C57BL/6J mice were selected as the control group. ApoE~(-/-) mice in other groups except the control group were fed with a high-fat diet for the modeling of AS and administrated with corresponding drugs via gavage for 8 weeks.

Tumor-associated neutrophils (TANs), pivotal immune cells within the tumor microenvironment (TME), exhibit dual potential in both pro- and anti-tumorigenic effects. These cells display remarkable heterogeneity and plasticity within the TME, adapting to hypoxic and nutrient-deprived conditions through metabolic reprogramming while critically influencing tumor progression, metastasis, and immune evasion. The metabolic reprogramming of TANs not only modulates their functional phenotypes but also reshapes tumor biological behaviors and therapeutic responses by regulating metabolic intermediates and cellular interactions within the TME.

microRNAs play a crucial role in the intricate process of muscle satellite cells proliferation and differentiation. Previous studies have demonstrated that miR-2400 can regulate bovine skeletal muscle satellite cell (MuSCs) proliferation, yet the underlying mechanism remains incompletely elucidated. In this study, we employed bioinformatics prediction and dual luciferase reporter assays to establish that miR-2400 directly targets the 3' untranslated regions (UTRs) of melanoma antigen family D1 (MAGED1) mRNA, thereby suppressing its expression.

Methods: A total of 112 patients with single- or double-segment lumbar degenerative disease were divided into two groups. In the unilateral fixation cohort, 32 single-segment patients and 22 double-segment patients underwent TLIF combined with UPSF, whereas in the bilateral fixation cohort, 34 single-segment patients and 24 double-segment patients underwent TLIF combined with BPSF.
A method for the asymmetric propargylation and allenylation of isatins catalyzed using chiral Box-copper/zinc catalysts is described. By modulation of the metal and solvent, a series of chiral 3-hydroxy-3-propargyl-2-oxindoles and 3-hydroxy-3-allenyl-2-oxindoles are selectively synthesized in good yields with excellent enantio- and regioselectivities.
