The plant F-box protein more axillary growth 2 (MAX2) is a key factor in the signal transduction of strigolactones (SLs) and karrinkins (KARs). As the main component of the SKP1-CUL1-FBX (SCF) complex ubiquitin ligase E3, MAX2 is responsible for specifically recognizing the target proteins, suppressor of MAX2 1/SMAX1-like proteins (SMAX1/SMXLs), which would be degraded after ubiquitination. It can thereby regulate plant morphogenesis and stress responses.

Although immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have elicited desirable clinical outcomes, their effective application remains an obstacle due to immunologically "cold" tumors that manifest lymphocyte exhaustion or poor infiltration. Hence, exploring new therapeutic strategies to enhance antitumor immunity is important. NOTCH1 has emerged as an oncogene in multiple malignancies and is involved in regulating the tumor microenvironment (TME).

A highly site-selective trifluoromethylaminoxylation of activated and unactivated olefins was reported under metal-free conditions. The method provides direct access to diverse β-trifluoromethyl trisubstituted hydroxylamines, tertiary alcohols, isoxazolines, isoxazolidines, and amino alcohols. The SET process between hydroxylamine and the hypervalent iodine-CF reagent is proposed to produce two free radicals for the regio- and diastereoselective addition to alkenes.

Over the past decade, considerable seminal reports and reviews have merely paid close attention to fluoroalkylation chemistry, such as trifluoromethylation, difluoroalkylation, perfluoroalkylation, trifluoromethylthiolation or trifluoromethoxylation. Polyfluoroarylation has inevitably lagged somewhat behind its fluoroalkylation counterparts, emanating from a lack of awareness and understanding of the synthetic significance.
