In this work, an S-type p-n junction is designed and fabricated by in situ interfacial sulfidation of Cu-TCPP. Due to the combination of in situ derived CuS, the light absorption expanded to the full-solar-light spectrum, with expected thermal effect and exponentially increased electrical conductivity. The co-shared Cu atoms inspired intimate atomic-level contact and strong electron cooperation to formulate the high-speed electron/heat transfer channel.

Methods: This multicenter retrospective cohort study included 1,196 RA patients enrolled in the China Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry of Patients with Chinese Medicine (CERTAIN) from September 1, 2019 to December 4, 2023, who initiated GC therapy. Participants were divided into the Western medicine (WM) and integrative medicine (IM, combination of CM and WM) groups based on medication regimen.
Pectic polysaccharides are the mainly bioactive components in (sweet tea) leaves. Nevertheless, owing to their diverse and complex chemical structures, the detailed structure-function relationships (SFR) of pectic polysaccharides from sweet tea (STP) are still unclear. Herein, the influence of STP's esterified degree on its diverse biological functions was uncovered.

The bioactivity of Ganoderma polysaccharides (GPs) closely correlates to their physicochemical properties. Consequently, the accurate characterization and quantification of GPs are essential for the quality control of these compounds.

Despite its importance, there is a scarcity of research on the structure and activities of these polysaccharides. In this study, polysaccharides from (GJPs) were extracted using various methods, including heated reflux extraction (HRE), acidic extraction (ACE), alkaline extraction (AAE), microwave-assisted extraction (MAE), enzymatic extraction (EAE), pressurized liquid extraction (PLE), and deep eutectic solvents extraction (DESE).

Theasinensin A is an important quality chemical component in tea, but its taste characteristics and the related mechanism are still unclear. The bitterness quantification and simulated taste mechanism of theasinensin A were researched. The results showed that theasinensin A was significantly correlated with the bitterness of tea.

Scaffolds combined with exosomes represent a promising but challenging method for improving the repair of traumatic brain injury. In this study, we determined the ability of a novel 3D-printed collagen/chitosan scaffold loaded with exosomes derived from neural stem cells pretreated with insulin-like growth factor-1 (3D-CC-INExos) to improve traumatic brain injury repair and functional recovery after traumatic brain injury in rats.

It has been reported that extramammary malignant tumors metastasize to the breast, but cervical cancer metastasis to the breast is very rare. At present, there are only dozens of reports about cervical cancer metastasis to breast in the world. It is difficult to distinguish between primary breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer.

Purpose: The main objectives of the China Rheumatoid Arthritis Registry of Patients with Chinese Medicine (CERTAIN) were to describe the population of RA patients receiving CM treatment in multiple centers in China using different variables and compare these findings with internationally reported data.
Herein, the obtained Cu Co -ZIF@Fe O @CC-150 heterojunction (termed as Cu Co -ZFC-150) showed high hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction (HER and OER) activities with low overpotential small Tafel slope. When employed to be the bifunctional anode and cathode, they only needed a cell voltage of 1.62 V.

Previous study shows that trilobatin (TLB), a naturally occurring food additive, exerts neuroprotective effect in experimental models of AD. In the present study we investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying the beneficial effect of TLB on experimental models of AD in vivo and in vitro.

CsPbBr quantum dots (CPB QDs) have great potential in photoreduction of CO to chemical fuels. However, the low charge transportation efficiency and chemical instability of CPB QDs presents a considerable challenge. Herein, we describe the electrostatic assemblies of negatively charged colloidal two dimensional (2D) Cu-Tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrins (Cu-TCPP) nanosheets and positively CPB QDs to construct the hydride heterojunction.
