Circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes (CP-OLEDs) exhibiting circularly polarized electroluminescence (CP-EL) properties hold significant promise for future display technologies. However, enhancing the electroluminescence dissymmetry factor ( ) remains a substantial challenge. Herein, ultrastrong CP-EL emissions are achieved using a liquid crystal (LC)-functionalization strategy under the regulation of chiral co-assembly.

Background: As a polyphagous agricultural pest of global significance, Aphis gossypii exhibits substantial population differentiation and inflicts damage across a broad host range, including economically important leguminous crops. This study aimed to clarify the adaptation of three A. gossypii haplotypes (Hap1, Hap3, Hap4) to four legume hosts: cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) varieties Zhongshouluchangfeng (ZLC) and Zhongshoucuichangfeng (ZCC), hyacinth bean (Lablab purpureus) and winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus).

Rationale: Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) is responsible for 25% of ischaemic strokes and 45% of dementia cases. Currently, therapies targeting individual mechanisms have not shown significant efficacy. As CSVD involves multiple pathophysiological mechanisms, Cerebralcare pills, a traditional Chinese medicine with multiple pharmacological mechanisms, may be effective in treating cognitive dysfunction in CSVD.

Super-enhancers (SEs) are dynamic chromatin structures that function as epigenetic hubs, orchestrating cell-type-specific transcriptional programs crucial for immune cell differentiation, functional specialization, and adaptive responses. These enhancer clusters integrate transcription factor (TF) networks, chromatin-modifying signals, and three-dimensional genome organization to govern lineage commitment, effector function acquisition, and metabolic reprogramming while enabling plasticity in response to environmental cues. SEs exhibit spatiotemporal regulatory properties, such as chromatin looping, phase-separated condensate formation, and stimulus-driven enhancer-promoter rewiring, all of which stabilize transcriptional outputs vital for immune homeostasis.

Circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes (CP-OLEDs) are essential to prospective 3D displays and advanced polarized lighting systems. The rational design of programmable circularly polarized electroluminescence (CP-EL) materials with a large electroluminescence dissymmetry factor (g) remains a great challenge and is still in its preliminary exploration phase. In this work, two aggregation induced emission active (AIE-active) chiral inducers with different dihedral angles of binaphthalene (S-/R-1 and S-/R-2) and achiral acrylate-based liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) (PyP) were chosed to construct chiral co-assemblies through an intermolecular chirality induction mechanism.

Dion-Jacobson (DJ)-type organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites have emerged as promising candidates for X-ray detection owing to their exceptional stability and remarkable X-ray absorption ability. Nevertheless, achieving enhanced detection sensitivity continues to pose a significant challenge in this research domain. Herein, we have successfully synthesized and grown a DJ-type (4-AMP)CsPbBr (1, 4-AMP = 4-ammoniomethylpiperidinium) hybrid perovskite single crystal with a high density of 3.

This paper proposes a low-complexity signal detection method for orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) communication systems, based on a separable convolutional neural network (SeCNN), termed SeCNN-OTFS. A novel SeparableBlock architecture is introduced, which integrates residual connections and a channel attention mechanism to enhance feature discrimination and training stability under high Doppler conditions. By decomposing standard convolutions into depthwise and pointwise operations, the model achieves a substantial reduction in computational complexity.

, an important forage legume on China's Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, exhibited dark-brown sunken lesions on their stems at the Qingyang Experimental Station of Lanzhou University. The fungus isolated from the diseased tissues was identified as via a multi-locus phylogeny (ITS-----). The pathogenicity was confirmed by Koch's postulates.

While TiS has been extensively studied for its ability to intercalate alkali metals like Li or Na, the higher homologue ZrS was studied only sparsely. Furthermore, an influence of different coordinating and noncoordinating electrolyte solvents on cyclability as well as the structural changes of the host structures had been observed for different active materials. In this study, we therefore investigated the intercalation mechanism of Na ions into layered 1T-ZrS using electrolytes with solvents of different coordination strengths toward Na, namely sodium trifluoromethanesulfonimide in ethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate (1:1, EC/DEC) and sodium triflate in bis(2-methoxyethyl) ether (diglyme).

Context: CL-20 (especially the ε-crystal form) is a high-energy density explosive, but the preparation of centimeter-sized ε-CL-20 crystals is complex, which limits the study of its properties and mechanisms. Since crystal morphology can significantly affect the performance and sensitivity of energetic materials, this study combines MD simulation and experimental techniques to study and examine the differences in ε-CL-20 crystal habit as well as the interplay between the principal growing crystal planes of ε-CL-20 and the mixed solvent molecules. The findings reveal that according to the AE model, ε-CL-20 consists of (0 1 1), (1 1 0), (1 0 -1), (1 1 -1), (0 0 2), (0 2 1), and (1 0 1) seven independent surfaces under vacuum, and the (0 1 1) surface is the most important growth surface.

Background: To enhance the taste and flavor quality of brown rice cake, various processing methods are employed, including internal enzyme germination modification, extrusion, stabilization of rice bran, exogenous enzyme hydrolysis, and backfilling. This study aimed to compare the texture, volatile flavor substances, taste changes, and internal texture structure of brown rice cakes subjected to different modification treatments, thereby clarifying the impact of these treatments on the overall quality of the brown rice cake.

Results: Following extrusion and enzymatic hydrolysis, the characteristic viscosity and disintegration value of brown rice flour decreased, while the recovery value and gelatinization temperature increased significantly.

Background: Mumps is an acute infectious disease caused by the mumps virus (MuV), primarily affecting the parotid glands, though it can also lead to systemic infections, including the nervous system. In China, the predominant circulating MuV genotype is F, while the vaccine strain (S79 or WM84) belongs to genotype A, raising concerns about immunization effectiveness.

Methods: A genotype F MuV strain was isolated from throat swabs of six suspected mumps patients.

Studies have identified a potential link between cardiovascular disease and LBMD, and the role of lipid metabolism in this has attracted widespread attention. We analyzed participant information collected from multiple NHANES cycles using weighted multivariable logistic regression, subgroup analysis, restricted cubic splines (RCS) curve analysis, and causal mediation analysis.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of partial substitution of NaCl by NH₄Cl on the gelatinization process of salted egg yolks. In this study, the differences of NH₄Cl substitution on the gelatinization process of egg yolk liquid, plasma, and granular were systematically analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and chemical analysis. The results showed that ammonium chloride could significantly increase the oil yield of plasma gel, promote the construction of gel network structure and protein aggregation in the gelation process of egg yolk components, shorten the gelation time to a certain extent, and precipitate protein particles on the surface of the gel during the process.
