Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) exhibits a high propensity for lymph node metastasis (LNM), significantly impacting postoperative recurrence and patient prognosis. The hypoxic microenvironment critically drives tumor progression by promoting PTC dedifferentiation. Through integrated bioinformatics analysis combining weighted gene co-expression network analysis and machine learning approaches on TCGA data, we identified TPM4 as a key hypoxia-responsive gene in PTC and validated its association with LNM using GEO datasets.

Introduction: Uncertainty exists regarding whether hepatectomy enhances the prognosis for initially unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that becomes resectable subsequent to conversion therapy. This study conducted a comparative analysis of survival rates between patients who underwent hepatectomy and those who did not, following complete or partial response to conversion therapy.
Methods: This retrospective study examined 300 patients with HCC who underwent hepatectomy following conversion therapy, along with 265 nonsurgical control subjects (215 receiving locoregional/systemic therapy and 50 under active surveillance) across 20 Chinese medical centers from 2019 to 2023.
Purpose: Although most patients with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (PTC) have a favorable prognosis, some continue to have elevated serum Thyroglobulin (Tg) levels after surgery and ¹³¹I treatment, classified as a Biochemical Incomplete Response (BIR). According to the 2015 American Thyroid Association (ATA) guidelines, 20% of these patients will develop a Structural Incomplete Response (SIR). Doctors often recommend ¹³¹I retreatment without imaging evidence, hoping for benefits.

Background And Aims: Various conversion therapy options have become available to patients with unresectable HCC, but which conversion therapy is optimal for which type of patient is controversial. This study compared the efficacy and safety of TACE alone or combined with immune checkpoint and tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

Aims: Extrathyroidal extension (ETE) is a determined factor of T3 and T4 stage of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) in American Joint Committee on Cancer. We aimed to compare clinical outcomes between different extent of ETE according to tumor size.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with DTC were collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database from 2004 to 2015.
Objective: To observe the effect of heat-reinforcing needling on the expression of serum inflammatory factors and autophagy of knee synovial tissue in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) rabbits with cold syndrome, so as to explore its mechanism of anti-inflammatory in the treatment of RA.
Methods: Fifty rabbits were randomly divided into normal, model, heat-reinforcing needling, inhibitor and agonist groups (=10 rabbits in each group). The model of RA with cold syndrome was established by Freund's adjuvant and ovalbumin mixed solution injection combined with freezing and wind-cold dampness method.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the changes in lung histomorphology and oxidative stress, as well as the expression of interleukin (IL)‑17C and other inflammatory factors during acute mountain sickness (AMS) in male Sprague‑Dawley rats and to explore the underlying mechanism. Rats were randomly divided into a control group (0 h) and three hypoxia stress groups, exposed to low‑pressure oxygen storage at a simulated altitude of 6,000 m for 24, 48 and 72 h, respectively.
