The O3-type NaNiFeMnO material is modified by introducing Sr into the Na sites and Al into the transition metal (TM) sites. The inactive Sr and Al serve as structural pillars within the NaO and TMO slabs, respectively, expanding the interlayer spacing and boosting the stability of the structure. The optimized cathode demonstrates a good rate performance of 117.

The forthcoming sixth-generation and beyond wireless networks are poised to operate across an expansive frequency range-from microwave, millimetre wave to terahertz bands-to support ubiquitous connectivity in diverse application scenarios. This necessitates a one-size-fits-all hardware solution that can be adaptively reconfigured within this wide spectrum to support full-band coverage and dynamic spectrum management. However, existing electrical or photonic-assisted solutions face a lot of challenges in meeting this demand because of the limited bandwidths of the devices and the intrinsically rigid nature of system architectures.

However, whether and how the decreased dissolved oxygen (DO) has happened in bottom seawater remains poorly understood. This study investigated DO depletion and microbial community responses using a multidisciplinary approach.

The quantitative detection of the population succession and the interaction between them in natural marine ecosystems is a key challenge that ecologists face. In this study, using high-throughput sequencing (HTS) analysis, a negative correlation was found between Diatoms and Chlorophyta near the Dafeng River Estuary (DRE) and the Sanniang Bay (SNB) located in the Beibu Gulf, China.

Methods: Following the PRISMA guidelines, we searched PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, and SinoMed from their inception to 23 November 2024. Two researchers independently screened the literature, assessed quality, and extracted data.
Objective: To systematically evaluate the prevalence and influencing factors of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) testing among adolescents and young adults (10-25 years old), providing a reference for optimizing testing strategies and supporting the global goal of eliminating HIV as a public health threat.
Methods: A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted following PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) recommendations. To assess the prevalence and factors influencing HIV testing among adolescents and young adults, databases were searched up to April 19, 2025.
Aim: To construct a genetic landscape of infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS) and explore the pathogenic mechanisms of IESS-associated genes.
Method: We conducted a nationwide, multicentre, retrospective study across six centres in China, enrolling patients with genetically confirmed IESS between January 2015 and January 2024. Additionally, we reviewed the existing literature, summarized the genetic landscape of IESS, and used bioinformatics approaches to investigate its pathophysiological features.
Schisandraceae, an early-diverging angiosperm lineage, produces dibenzocyclooctadiene (DBCOD) lignans, unique bioactive compounds with liver-protecting properties. Although DBCOD lignan chemodiversity is well documented, their biosynthesis and evolution remain unclear. Here, we present a high-quality genome, completing genomic representation of early angiosperms.

The construction of built-in electric field (BIEF) in heterojunction is an effective strategy to enhance solar-driven hydrogen (H) production by minimizing charge carrier recombination and improving transport kinetics. Herein, p-type ternary sulfide CuGaS (CGS) and n-type g-CN nanosheets (CN) are integrated to construct a p-n heterojunction through a simple co-precipitation method for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). In situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (in situ XPS), in situ electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and density functional theory (DFT) calculations revealed that differences in Fermi levels and carrier concentrations between CGS and CN induce charge migration following an S-scheme mechanism, which aligned well with the intrinsic p-n junction field.

The antibacterial efficiency is confined in the contradiction between reactants adsorption and intermediates desorption. Here, the FeMoS/MXene bio-heterojunction enzyme (FM BioHJzyme) is proposed and constructed.

Parkinson's disease is a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder, where early diagnosis is essential for slowing disease progression and optimizing treatment strategies. The latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) have introduced new opportunities for early detection. Studies have demonstrated that before obvious motor symptoms appear, PD patients exhibit a range of subtle but quantifiable motor abnormalities.

The mosaic variants of TSC1 and TSC2 are scarcely detectable using the conventional next-generation sequencing (NGS). Therefore, this study aims to explore the detection and distribution of mosaic variants within affected families.

As classic chemical (acid and alkali) pretreatments could cause chemical waste liberation, this study performed optimal pretreatments with hot-FeCl for sequentially enhancing biomass enzymatic saccharification in three bioenergy crops, which led to achieving hexoses yields raised by 4-7 times compared to the controls. By employing engineered yeast strain for xylose co-fermentation, the highest bioethanol yield was achieved at 18 % (% dry matter) in Miscanthus sample.

In order to develop an efficient, environmentally friendly heavy metal ions adsorbent, the amino-modified expanded vermiculite-supported nano zero-valent iron (nZVI@PEI/EVMT) was prepared by using polyethyleneimine (PEI) as the functional reagent and expanded vermiculite (EVMT) as the carrier. The characterization results of nZVI@PEI/EVMT confirm that the PEI modification did not destroy the crystal configuration of EVMT, and when nano zero-valent iron (nZVI) was successfully loaded onto the PEI/EVMT surface, the value of saturation magnetic field was 41.5 emu/g, which could be separated from solution with magnet.
