Oxygen-releasing biomaterials present a novel avenue for tissue reoxygenation therapy, offering advantages over conventional hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Herein, we developed a microcosmic oxygen-releasing platform (MORP) named photosynthetic egg by utilizing egg white hydrogel with inherent bioactive factors for regenerative strength and electrostatic adsorbedbringing photosynthetic oxygen production.

Based on the pharmacodynamic components of Coptidis Rhizoma (CR) against oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), the combination of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques was used to achieve the rapid detection of CR quality, which provided a reference for the implementation of the quality detection method of CR oriented to the clinical efficacy. Firstly, the pharmacodynamic components of CR in the treatment of OSCC were studied by means of network pharmacology and molecular docking technology, and the pharmacodynamic components were screened and verified in vitro to screen out the key active components. Subsequently, the contents of key active ingredients of CR from different origins were detected and quantitative analysis models were established by a combination of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) techniques.

Ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) is a significant global public health issue, with its pathophysiology encompassing atherosclerotic plaque formation, thrombosis, hypoperfusion, ischemic cell death, and left ventricular remodeling. Lactate is not only regarded as an energy metabolite but also acts as a signaling molecule that influences various physiological processes, regulating metabolism and muscle contraction. Lactylation, an emerging epigenetic modification, affects protein functionality and gene expression through the P300 enzyme.

Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a cytokine that can bind to IL-6 receptor and induce pleiotropic effects. It serves as a critical biomarker, involved in inflammation amplification, tumor progression, and many other disease developments. Nanobodies, featuring small structure and high affinity, are a powerful and versatile tool in medical diagnostics and therapeutics.

Ultra-stable fibrous structure is a hallmark of amyloids. In contrast to canonical disease-related amyloids, emerging research indicates that a significant number of cellular amyloids, termed 'functional amyloids', contribute to signal transduction as temporal signaling hubs in humans. However, it is unclear how these functional amyloids are effectively disassembled to terminate signal transduction.

Here we reproduce the less sensitive to P.

Purpose: To investigate the roles of DDR2 and IFITM1 in breast cancer (BC).
Methods: The expression of DDR2 and IFITM1 in BC tissues and cell lines was measured. DDR2 and/or IFITM1 were knocked down in BT20 and MDA-MB-231 cells, after which the viability, mobility and apoptosis of the cells were tested.
Alkali-extractable mycelial polysaccharide (Al-MPS) is a natural macromolecular polymer that has shown anti-hyperlipidemic and antitumor abilities. This study investigates the mechanism by which Al-MPS inhibits lipid metabolism and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer (BC). BC cells (MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231) were transfected and/or treated with Al-MPS.

The ultimate goal of the study is to present a strategy to improve the accuracy of near-infrared spectroscopy detection of Shuanghuanglian oral liquid in glass bottles without damaging the primary packaging. we adopted the multi-position spectral modeling (MPSM) method to correct the spectral variation caused by the difference of bottle and measuring position, so as to improve the measurement accuracy and find the best site combination for measuring Shuanghuanglian oral liquid. Baicalin, total flavonoids and soluble solid contents were considered as the quality indicators of the oral liquid, and partial least squares (PLS) models were employed for the single-position and multi-position spectra, respectively.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is suspected to be associated with several chronic metabolic diseases. The aim of the present study was to review previous epidemiological studies that examined the relationship between BPA exposure and the risk of obesity. PubMed, Web of Science, and Embase databases were systematically searched by 2 independent investigators for articles published from the start of database coverage until January 1, 2020.

In contrast to such notion, here we show-in many cancer cell types-MTAs function by triggering membrane TNF (memTNF)-mediated cancer-cell-to-cancer-cell killing, which differs greatly from other non-MTA cell-cycle-arresting agents. The killing is through programmed cell death (PCD), either in way of necroptosis when RIP3 kinase is expressed, or of apoptosis in its absence.
