Pd-zeolites are promising passive NO adsorber (PNA) materials for mitigating cold-start emissions from lean-burn engines. Objective: To investigate the association between the neutrophil-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHR) and the risk of psoriasis.
Methods: This cross-sectional study analyzed data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) for the periods 2003-2006 and 2009-2014, including 21,723 adults aged ≥20 years. Weighted multivariable logistic regression models were used to examine the association between NHR and psoriasis, with stepwise adjustments for demographic, metabolic parameters, and comorbid factors.
In recent years, there have been frequent adverse reactions/events associated with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), especially liver injury related to traditional non-toxic TCM, which requires adequate attention. Liver injury related to traditional non-toxic TCM is characterized by its sporadic and insidious nature and is influenced by various factors, making its detection and identification challenging. There is an urgent need to develop a strategy and method for early detection and recognition of traditional non-toxic TCM-related liver injury.

Selective hydrogenation of biomass-derived furfural to furfuryl alcohol is fundamentally challenged by the dual adsorption of its reactive furan ring and carbonyl group on Pd catalysts, which drives nonselective pathways. To modulate the adsorption mode of furfural, we rationally incorporate carbon species onto Pd subnanoclusters encapsulated in a siliceous zeolite (Pd-C@S-1), achieving 98% selectivity for furfuryl alcohol at full furfural conversion, vastly outperforming the carbon-free Pd@S-1 (11.6% selectivity).

The RNA-binding protein TRIM71 is essential for brain development, and recent genetic studies in humans have identified as a risk gene for congenital hydrocephal-us (CH). Here, we show that monoallelic missense mutations in are associated with hearing loss (HL) and inner ear aplasia in humans.
