This study provides a detailed spatiotemporal analysis of vegetation health in Southern Thailand from 2000 to 2023, focusing on the impacts of temperature and water stress on vegetation degradation. Using high-resolution Landsat-derived kernel Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (kNDVI) and Land Surface Temperature (LST), alongside precipitation (PPT), soil moisture (SM), vapor pressure deficit (VPD), and solar radiation (SR), several key indices were derived such as Vegetation Condition Index (VCI), Temperature Condition Index (TCI), and Vegetation Health Index (VHI). The study offers a robust framework to monitor vegetation health under climate stress by integrating satellite-based indices with detailed climate datasets.

Retinal detachment is a leading cause of blindness worldwide, with current treatments using silicone oil or expanded gases to facilitate reattachment. Polymeric hydrogels are a promising alternative due to their optical clarity, rheological properties, and biodegradability. In this study, we synthesized polymeric hydrogels by crosslinking oxidized carboxymethyl cellulose and sodium alginate with calcium chloride and introduced cucumber extract, a plant-based antioxidant rich in flavonoids and phenolics, known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

A novel, potentially effective, and precise 3D-printed scaffold was fabricated for presumable burn injuries. A natural polysaccharide guar gum (GG) was chemically modified (oxidized) to guar gum dialdehyde (OGG) to enhance its reactivity towards the sodium alginate (ALG). The copper and silver doped mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (Cu-Ag MBGNs) was loaded to OGG/ALG ink (before 3D printing) to build a biologically active scaffold holding therapeutic potential.

Thermoelectric (TE) devices pave a promising pathway for clean and efficient energy conversion between heat and electricity. Among various TE materials, copper selenide (CuSe) has attracted significant interest due to its high electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity offered by its superionic behavior, making it a candidate for high-performance thermoelectric applications. The present study systematically investigates the TE properties of thin film-based nanocomposites comprised of lead (Pb)-doped CuSe integrated with lead selenide (PbSe) samples.

Current developments in tissue engineering methods and conventional implants continue to face challenges in tackling the complex avascular characteristics of articular cartilage, hindering effective repair and tissue regeneration. To overcome these challenges, this study primarily aims to achieve a synergistic solution by processing Asphaltum Punjabianum (Shilajit) incorporated polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) nanofibrous mats through electrospinning. The processed electrospun fibers were comprehensively analyzed through scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), antimicrobial assay, degradation studies, surface roughness measurements, rheological studies, and assessment of cell viability.

In this paper, a new Caputo discrete fractional model is introduced to capture the dynamics of English language learning. This model creates a strong foundation for examining language acquisition behaviors by including the learning process within the system. The proposed work not only presents an innovative discrete fractional model but also leverages machine learning techniques to estimate and analyze the learning process over time.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed medical diagnostics by enhancing the accuracy of disease detection, particularly through deep learning models to analyze medical imaging data. However, the energy demands of training these models, such as ResNet and MobileNet, are substantial and often overlooked; however, researchers mainly focus on improving model accuracy. This study compares the energy use of these two models for classifying thoracic diseases using the well-known CheXpert dataset.

Copper selenide (CuSe) has been extensively studied due to its promising thermoelectric properties in bulk form. However, the miniaturization of thermoelectric devices using thin films is highly desired for smart applications. To date, there are few reports on composite thin films of CuSe for thermoelectric applications, primarily due to their lower conversion efficiency.

The fast degradation rate of implants of AZ 31 alloy in the physiological body fluid is a critical problem for orthopaedic applications. The surface modification of AZ 31 can regulate fast degradation by depositing a biocompatible composite coating. Herein, chitosan/ iron-doped bioactive glass (Fe-doped BG) particles were deposited on AZ 31 via electrophoretic deposition (EPD) at optimized parameters (electric field 15 V/cm with 5 min as deposition time).

Intrinsically active rhamnolipids functionalized liposomes (rhamnosomes) as a carrier for cinnamaldehyde were developed to enhance the antibacterial activity against foodborne isolates. Stable rhamnosomes were optimized with an excellent encapsulation efficiency of 85 ± 1%. SEM revealed slightly rough surface morphology and the mean diameter was slightly increased after the incorporation of cinnamaldehyde in rhamnosomes from 77 to 137 ± 2 nm.

To improve their interfacial adhesion and dispersion, F-MWCNTs underwent hot-pressing. The heat-treatment has improved the nanotubes' connections and subsequently reduced porosity as well, which results in an increasing electrical conductivity upon increasing temperature of hot-pressing.

Radio frequency interference disrupts services offered by Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Spoofing is the transmission of structured interference signals intended to deceive GNSS location and timing services. The identification of spoofing is vital, especially for safety-of-life aviation services, since the receiver is unaware of counterfeit signals.
