3D extrusion printing has been widely investigated for low-volume production of complex-shaped scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) is used as a baseline material for the synthesis of biomaterial inks, often with organic/inorganic fillers, to obtain a balance between good printability and biophysical properties. The present study demonstrates how 45S5 bioactive glass (BG) addition and GelMA concentrations can be tailored to develop GelMA composite scaffolds with good printability and buildability.

In the present study, we prepared magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) loaded with natural () herb and Epilim (Ep) drug to evaluate the anti-cancerous activity against brain cancer cells. All the samples were prepared via co-precipitation approach modified with different concentrations of and Ep drug at room temperature. The MNPs loaded with drug and natural herb were studied in terms of crystal structure, morphology, colloidal stability, size distribution, and magnetic properties.

Additive manufacturing (AM) has arisen as a transformative technology for manufacturing complex geometries with enhanced mechanical properties, particularly in the realm of continuous fiber-reinforced polymer composites (CFRPCs). Among various AM techniques, fused deposition modeling (FDM) stands out as a promising method for the fabrication of CFRPCs due to its versatility, ease of use, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. Several research papers on the AM of CFRPs via FDM were summarized and therefore this review paper provides a critical examination of the process-printing parameters influencing the AM process, with a focus on their impact on mechanical properties.

Herein, we synthesized hydrogel films from crosslinked polyethylene oxide (PEO) and guar gum (GG) which can offer hydrophilicity, antibacterial efficacy, and neovascularization. This study focuses on synthesis and material/biological characterization of rosemary (RM) and citric acid (CA) loaded PEO/GG hydrogel films. Scanning Electron Microscopy images confirmed the porous structure of the developed hydrogel film matrix (PEO/GG) and the dispersion of RM and CA within it.

Patient-specific fabrication of scaffold/implant requires an engineering approach to manufacture the ideal scaffold. Herein, we design and 3D print scaffolds comprised of polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK) and sodium-carboxymethyl cellulose (Na-CMC). The fabricated scaffold was dip coated with Zn and Mn doped bioactive glass nanoparticles (Zn-Mn MBGNs).

Re-arrangement of cationic distribution in partially inverse spinel NiAlO by using chemical pressure perturbation is studied. Structural, impedance and magnetic analysis suggest presence of regions/domains inside the grain/bulk with same lattice arrangement but varying in cationic oxidation state. Perturbing the cationic distribution in the grain via low concentrations of ambivalence substituent rearranges the cationic distribution across these domains within the partially inverse spinel lattice without disturbing the crystal structure.

The main objective of the current study is to suggest an enhanced family of log ratio-exponential type estimators for population distribution function (DF) using auxiliary information under stratified random sampling. Putting different choices in our suggested generalized class of estimators, we found some Specific estimators. The bias and MSE expressions of the estimators have been approximated up to the first order.

Data management and finding precise outcomes from large amounts of information are among the biggest challenges for scientists. The technique of multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) is a valuable tool for investigating fuzzy data precisely. The key objective of the paper is to redefine the q-rung orthopair (q-RO) fuzzy set (FS) (q-ROFS) in the term of interval-valued and proposed new aggregation operators (AOs) based on the Aczel-Alsina (AA) t-norm (TN) and t-conorm (TCN) operations.

This study conducts a spatio-temporal analysis of tropospheric nitrogen dioxide (NO) and total carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations in the Punjab and Haryana regions of India and Pakistan, using datasets from the Sentinel 5-Precursor (S5P) satellite. These regions, marked by diverse economic growth factors including population expansion, power generation, transportation, and agricultural practices, face similar challenges in atmospheric pollution, particularly evident in major urban centers like Delhi and Lahore, identified as pollution hotspots. The study also spotlights pollution associated with power plants.

With the advent of COVID-19, the number of patients diagnosed with mucormycosis has increased, especially in developing countries. The reason behind this increase is that COVID-19 causes hypoxia that promotes the growth of fungus. To identify the association between mucormycosis and COVID-19, in critically ill or immunocompromised COVID-19 patients.

Dengue is one of Pakistan's major health concerns. In this study, we aimed to advance our understanding of the levels of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAPs) in Pakistan's Dengue Fever (DF) hotspots. Initially, at-risk communities were systematically identified via a well-known spatial modeling technique, named, Kernel Density Estimation, which was later targeted for a household-based cross-sectional survey of KAPs.

This longitudinal study investigates how Google Translate's Urdu-to-English translated output has evolved between 2018 and 2021. Accuracy and acceptability of the translations have been determined by, a) an interlinear gloss that identifies core semantic units and grammatical functions to be translated and, b) a descriptive comparison of the translated text's syntactic and semantic properties with those of the source text.

Petroleum-based plastics are used as packaging materials because of their low cost and high availability; however, continuous use of these nondegradable materials especially in the food industry has led to environmental pollution. The present study aimed to synthesize antibacterial and biodegradable films based on natural biopolymers carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), and ascorbic acid (AA) cross-linked in the presence of glutaraldehyde (GA). The films were synthesized in two different concentrations, 60PVA:40CMC:AA and 70PVA:30CMC:AA with a fixed amount of AA.

An upsurge in global food prices in 2008 led to significantly higher food prices across the developing world. Global commodity prices have since declined but still remain volatile, but at the same time local food prices remain high in many countries. This study examines the potential impacts of the rise in food prices on poverty-income based poverty and calorie-based poverty- focusing on Pakistan, and its rural and urban areas.
