Unlabelled: Accurate wind speed forecasting plays a key role in supporting renewable energy systems, improving flight safety, and enhancing weather prediction. However, the variability and non-stationary nature of wind patterns make reliable forecasting a difficult task. To address these issues, this research proposes a hybrid approach that combines Wavelet Transform (WT) decomposition, an Encoder-Decoder Transformer, and XGBoost in an ensemble setup.

Many pyridopyrimidine moieties linked to the coumarin ring were synthesized by the reaction of malononitrile with 7-hydroxy-4-methyl-2-oxo-2 H-chromene-8-carbaldehyde (2) directly in the presence of ammonium acetate and different ketones and studied the effect of other basic catalysis, ratio of reactants and the effect of the solvent. The newly synthesized compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activity against four cell lines namely HepG2, WI-38, VERO, and MCF-7. The cytotoxic activity showed that compounds 8, 9, 10, and 7 have the highest activity against the studied cell lines.

This paper presents a novel computational engine based on non-recursive discrete Fourier transform (DFT) technology to detect high-resistance faults (HRFs) in power distribution networks. The non-recursive DFT approach utilizes the interconnection between a sliding window for current signals and a foundation function window during transient error. This non-recursive DFT technology is characterized by a fixed error in amplitude calculation and a rotated output angle.

The swelling coefficient Q of the toluene, benzene, and chloroform solvents was performed, and the Q reflects the ability of the polymer composites to absorb and retain a solvent within their structure. The conductivity of the examined composites has been computed, and their dielectric characteristics have been calculated.

Power transformers play a critical role in electric power systems by facilitating connections between subsystems with different voltage levels. Ensuring their reliable operation and protection against faults is essential for maintaining network stability. Percentage differential (PD) protection, commonly used in transformer protection relays, faces limitations such as dealing with current transformer (CT) saturation during external faults and difficulty in detecting certain fault types.
