This study introduces a novel dual-sensitive drug delivery system, gelatin-coated chitosan microparticles (GL-ChMPs), designed to enhance the lung targeting and therapeutic efficacy of semaglutide (SEM). GL-ChMPs were designed to respond to the acidic environment and metalloproteinases, conditions that are typical in pulmonary fibrosis. SEM-GL-ChMPs exhibited superior lung targeting and prolonged retention while minimizing systemic distribution.

The tripartite genome comprises 16,563 nucleotides, representing the Alabama (AL) SVNV genome, and shows high similarity to Iowa, Illinois, and Tennessee isolates, enabling evolutionary analysis.

Herein, we present open-source microfluidic sequence automation (MiSA) that offers flexible and multiplexed fluid control for various applications, providing constant flow pressure-based feedback control with 10-plex capability and pulsed flow on the order of 100 ms. MiSA was self-contained, including a pressure source, and employed an Arduino Micro to integrate ten solenoid valves, an off-the-shelf pressure regulator, and a flow sensor to balance cost and reliability.
