Article Abstract

Unlabelled: produce prodigiosin as a high-value intracellular secondary metabolite. However, the effect of Tween-80 on prodigiosin release remains unclear. This study aimed to elucidate the physiological characteristics and metabolic mechanisms of in the presence of Tween-80. The results showed that Tween-80 significantly affected prodigiosin's synthesis and extracellular release. Significant changes in cell morphology and zeta (ζ) potential were observed during cell growth. In addition, 245 differential metabolites were identified by non-targeted metabolomics analysis, indicating that Tween-80 affects the metabolism of fatty acids, amino acids, extra-long-chain fatty acids, and their derivatives. Enrichment pathway analysis revealed significant enrichment of lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism, and other pathways. Finally, in conjunction with the metabolomics results, a prodigiosin yield was achieved at 6.5 g/L in 5 L bioreactors using fed-batch fermentation. The results of this study have significant implications for the regulation of prodigiosin synthesis and metabolism.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Corus officinalis Siebold & Zucc belongs to the genus Cornus in the Cornaceae family, and was first recorded in the "Shennong Herbal Classic", now has been included in "according to the tradition of both food and Chinese herbal medicines", consist of kidney and liver tonifying, antioxidant substances including cycloid glycosides, flavonoids, polyphenols, organic acids, etc. AIM OF THE STUDY: This study was aimed at discovering the mechanism underlying the anti-hyperemia effect of Cor in rats, particularly its protective effect against liver and kidney dysfunction caused by HUA.

Materials And Methods: In this study, the effect of Cor extract against HUA was verified in rats, subsequently, network pharmacology combined with non-targeted metabolomic were performed to investigate its composition characteristics, and further multi-omics studies and molecular validation were performed to reveal molecular mechanism both in vivo and in vitro.

Background: Diabetic nephropathy (DN), a serious diabetic complication, currently has limited treatment options. Yulan Jiangtang capsules (YL) are a clinically approved traditional Chinese medicine formula for glycemic control and diabetes-related complications. Nevertheless, the underlying mechanisms of their therapeutic effects remain incompletely elucidated.

Walnut meal (WM), a protein-rich byproduct of oil extraction, holds great potential for conversion into value-added food products but remains underutilized. In this study, a two-stage fermentation process involving Aspergillus oryzae inoculation for koji preparation followed by natural brine fermentation was developed to produce a peptide-enriched walnut meal paste (WMP). Physicochemical analysis showed significant increases in total acidity (0.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of LPJZ-658 on body weight and serum indexes of Luhua broiler, and to explore the relevant mechanism of probiotic function of LPJZ-658 based on intestinal microbiota and serum metabolomics.

Methods: One hundred one-day-old Luhua broiler were randomly divided into the control group (CON) and LPJZ-658 treatment group (LPJZ-658). The CON group was fed a basal diet, and the LPJZ-658 group was fed the basal diet supplemented with 2 × 10 cfu/kg of LPJZ-658.
