The evolution of the spatiotemporal relationship between urban economic growth and health resources within the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration provides an important context for understanding the regional development dynamics in China. Previous studies focused on equity in health-resource allocation and service efficiency, often overlooking the allometric growth relationships between health resources and economic variables. This study employs an allometric growth model to elucidate the changing interactions between the number of medical beds, doctors, and urban economic indicators in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2009 to 2022.

Next-Generation Ultrafast Photoluminescence Spectroscopy: Integration of Transient Grating Optical Gate and Advanced Femtosecond Laser Technology.

We demonstrate a high-performance ultrafast broadband time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) system based on the transient grating photoluminescence spectroscopy (TGPLS) technique. The core of the system is a Kerr effect-induced transient grating (TG) optical gate driven by high repetition rate ultrashort laser pulses at 1030 nm with micro-Joule pulse energy. Satisfying the demands of spectroscopy applications, the setup achieves high sensitivity, rapid data acquisition, ultrafast time resolution, and a wide spectral window from ultraviolet to near-infrared.

Background: The coordinative relationship between medical treatment and the economy is an important part of promoting the sustainable and healthy development of a social economy, and it is conducive to promoting the coordinated development of the two systems.

Methods: Based on constructing a comprehensive evaluation index system for the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine medical services and economic development, the entropy method, coupling coordination model, and Tobit model are used to calculate the comprehensive development level, coupling coordination degree, and influencing factors of the two systems in 31 provinces of China from 2015 to 2021. Suggestions are proposed for the coordinated development of traditional Chinese medicine medical services, and economy.

In this two-center, prospective observational study, 33 patients with HBsAg recurrence after stopping peg-IFN α-based regimens were enrolled and re-treated with an individualized course of peg-IFN α-2b.

Coronavirus Disease 2019: Hysteresis Effect of Chest CT and the Correlation with its Severity.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influencing factors for chest CT hysteresis and severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Methods: The chest CT data of patients with confirmed COVID-19 in 4 hospitals were retrospectively analyzed. An independent assessment was performed by one clinician using the DEXIN FACT Workstation Analysis System, and the assessment results were reviewed by another clinician.

Methods: In this case series, we report three patients with confirmed COVID-19 and pre-existing decompensated cirrhosis from three hospitals in Hubei, the epicenter of the outbreak in China.

Result: Patient 1 was a 53-year-old man with hepatitis B virus-related cirrhosis, portal hypertension, and ascites.
