Background: Clinicians frequently encounter patients manifesting with sinonasal symptoms meeting diagnostic criteria for rhinosinusitis, yet demonstrating radiologically-negative sinus computed tomography (CT) findings. These patients typically exhibit poor response to conventional pharmacological therapies. Investigating the pathogenesis of these patients is critically important.

Fluorine-18 is one of the most widely used radionuclides for PET imaging due to its favorable chemical characteristics and nuclear-physical properties. Herein, we describe two complementary radiosynthetic approaches and preliminary evaluation for [F] as a novel and promising fluorine-18 labeled radiotracer for imaging TRPC5.

Their high σR potency and selectivity were determined through in vitro binding assays, further validated by molecular docking analysis. Central Nervous System Multiparameter Optimization algorithm (CNS MPO) predicts efficient brain penetration for these enantiomers.

Stapokibart, a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the interleukin (IL)-4 receptor subunit alpha, inhibits its interaction with both IL-4 and IL-13 in type 2 inflammation. Here we aim to assess the efficacy and safety of stapokibart as an add-on therapy in adults with moderate-to-severe SAR.

Objectives: In this study, we evaluated whether the effect of AzeFlu, a generic drug manufactured from China, is equivalent to that of MP-AzeFlu.

Orbital apex syndrome (OAS) is a severe orbital condition caused by impairment of cranial nerves after inflammation or local compression. The report details an uncommon case of OAS caused by herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO) following endoscopic sinus surgery. A 52-year-old male exhibited symptoms of OAS in the postoperative phase; however, imaging examination and endoscopic evaluations failed to support that surgical damage and bacterial infection were the cause.

Objectives: To screen the COL1A1 and COL1A2 gene mutation sites in a family with type I osteogenesis imperfecta (OI)/hearing loss and analyze the characteristics and recovery of hearing loss in patients with osteogenesis imperfecta.
Methods: The basic clinical data of OI proband and her parents were collected, and the COL1A1 and COL1A2 genes were detected in peripheral blood by PCR amplification and generation Sanger sequencing. Literature of stapedial surgery in patients with osteogenesis imperfecta was collected.

Background: Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a chronic inflammatory disease with complex pathophysiology and therapeutic strategies. Moreover, the molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of CRSwNP are incompletely understood.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the transcriptomic characteristics, ceRNA networks, and whether these molecular markers play a role in the occurrence and development of CRSwNP.

Material And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of eight patients diagnosed with Onodi cell mucocele at a single tertiary care university hospital in Beijing, China, between January 2017 and September 2020. Data regarding nasal symptoms, ocular symptoms, sinus computed tomography findings, treatments, histopathological results, and clinical outcomes were extracted.

Introduction: The anterosuperior portion of the bulla lamella can extend into the frontal sinus and form the supra bulla frontal cell (SBFC) and supraorbital ethmoid cell (SOEC). This can affect the frontal drainage pathway and make surgery more challenging.
Objectives: The aim of the study was to compare the anatomical characteristics of SBFC and SOEC in Chinese chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) patients and explore the relationship between the cells and frontal sinusitis (FS).

Introduction: Noise-induced hearing loss is one of the most common forms of sensorineural hearing loss. Nevertheless, the mechanisms of noise-induced hearing loss are still not fully understood.
Objective: To investigate the dynamics of inflammatory responses in the mammalian cochlea following noise trauma at two different times, once during the light cycle and once during the dark.

Purpose: Previous studies on fungus balls have primarily focused on immunocompetent patients, and only a few studies have described the clinical characteristics of fungus balls in malignant hematological disease (MHD) patients. Therefore, we compared the clinical features of maxillary sinus fungus ball (MSFB) between immunosuppressive patients with MHD and immunocompetent patients.
Methods: Twenty patients with MHD and 40 randomly selected immunocompetent patients were enrolled and divided into MHD and non-MHD groups.

Objectives: The most common type of noninvasive fungal rhinosinusitis is fungus ball (FB), which usually involves a solitary paranasal sinus. Multiple fungus balls (MFBs) are rarely reported in literature. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the clinical features of MFBs and solitary fungus ball (SFB).

Background: is the most common outdoor aeroallergen throughout Northern China; however, no multicenter study has investigated sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) as a treatment option for -induced allergic rhinitis (AR). The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an innovative SLIT for -related AR.
Methods: This was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, phase 3 clinical trial conducted in China (NCT XXX).

Purpose: Effective topical medications delivery to the frontal sinus is crucial to recovery from frontal sinusotomy. However, finding a way to deliver local medications to the frontal sinus is still a major challenge. The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of various head positions on postoperative frontal sinus drug deposition.

Objective: To evaluate the short-term efficacy and investigate the factors of specific immunotherapy (SIT) efficacy of allergic rhinitis.
Method: Fifty-seven patients with allergic rhinitis to dermatophagoides pteronysinus were included to receive SIT. Pair t-test was used to compare the symptom scores, visual analogue scores (VAS) and medication scores in patients before SIT and into maintain treatment statement to evaluate the clinical efficacy.
