The objective of this study was to investigate the root growth compensatory effects and cotton yield under drought stress. The results indicate that the root dry weight, boll weight, and cotton yield increased in both the drought-resistant cultivar (CCRI-45) and the drought-sensitive cultivar (CCRI-60). Compensation effects were exhibited under the three-day drought stress treatment at a soil relative water content (SRWC) of 60% and 45% during the seedling stage, and flowering and boll-forming stage over two years.

To analyze the efficacy and safety of the combination therapy of Aconitum and Western medicine in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by Meta-analysis, and provide evidence for its clinic application for RA. The random clinical trials (RCTs) regarding the combination therapy for treating RA were retrieved in the database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure database, China Science and Technology Journal database, WanFang, Chinese Biomedical Medical Database, PubMed, and Cochrane Library up to July 2017. According to the given inclusion criteria, 8 RCTs involving 659 participants were included, and the included RCTs could be further divided into three subgroups according to the herb type, which were Aconiti Radix (Chuanwu) subgroup (6RCTs), Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Caowu) subgroup (1RCT), and Chuanwu-Caowu subgroup (1RCT).

An in situ catalytic etching strategy is developed to fabricate holey reduced graphene oxide along with simultaneous coupling with a small-sized Mo N-Mo C heterojunction (Mo N-Mo C/HGr). The method includes the first immobilization of H PMo O (PMo ) clusters on graphite oxide (GO), followed by calcination in air and NH to form Mo N-Mo C/HGr. PMo not only acts as the Mo heterojunction source, but also provides the Mo species that can in situ catalyze the decomposition of adjacent reduced GO to form HGr, while the released gas (CO) and introduced NH simultaneously react with the Mo species to form an Mo N-Mo C heterojunction on HGr.
