Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) are transforming medical education by enhancing teaching and assessment methods. Research output has surged, but key bibliometric trends remain underexplored.
Methods: We retrieved 547 publications using the Web of Science Core Collection and conducted bibliometric analysis with CiteSpace and other bibliometric tools to examine publication volume, collaboration networks, citations, keywords, and other important bibliometric indicators.

Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients with complex ureteral stones face significant challenges in terms of treatment outcomes, including higher risk for complications such as sepsis and prolonged recovery times. The efficacy of combined rigid and flexible ureteroscopy in managing these stones in T2DM patients remains underexplored.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted at our hospital from January 2021 to August 2024.
Purpose: To evaluate the impact of negative-pressure ureteral access sheath (NP-UAS) on thermal effects during holmium laser lithotripsy.
Materials And Methods: A 3D-printed urinary model was used. A ureteroscope, traditional UAS (T-UAS) or NP-UAS, and a 200 µm hollium laser fiber were introduced into the model's proximal ureter, with the fiber activated for 90 s.

The incidence of male infertility is increasing year by year, with obstructive azoospermia being the main cause of infertility. The activity of neutral α-glucosidase plays an important role in diagnosing obstructive azoospermia. In order to effectively and non-invasively distinguish obstructive azoospermia, we have developed a rapid and sensitive surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) detection platform for neutral α-glucosidase in semen by combining nanoprobes with capillary systems labeled with capture antibodies.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 170 patients who received their first prostate biopsy result as ASAP. The lost follow-up rate, clinical interventions, subsequent pathological results, prostate cancer detection rate, and Gleason scores were analyzed.
Objectives: To assess the outcomes of combining a 7.5Fr flexible ureteroscope (fURS) with a 10/12F ureteral access sheath (UAS) through a comprehensive in vitro and in vivo evalu-ation.
Methods: We conducted a comparative analysis, evaluating the impact of a 7.

Objective: The effectiveness of combining immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in neoadjuvant therapy for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) remains unclear. This study aim to compare the efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant ICI plus TKI combination therapy versus TKI monotherapy in locally RCC patients.
Methods: This study included 185 cases of locally RCC disease(TanyNanyM0) receiving neoadjuvant therapy from 29 centers across China from January 2019 to Feburary 2024.
Sinularin is a natural product extracted from soft coral and is shown to exhibit antitumor effects against multiple human cancers. We previously showed that Sinularin induces apoptotic cell death via stabilizing the FOXO3 protein in prostate cancer cells. In this study, we demonstrated that Sinularin triggers autophagy via two different mechanisms in prostate cancer cells.

This study investigates the association between the newly proposed Dietary Index for Gut Microbiota (DI-GM) and the prevalence and prognosis of CKD. This cross-sectional study analyzed data from the U.

Here, we found profound genomic instability in PCa cells with SPOP gene mutations and confirmed the sensitivity of SPOP-mutated PCa cells to olaparib-induced apoptosis. Mechanistically, we identified olaparib-induced CK2-mediated phosphorylation of PIAS1-S468, which in turn mediated SUMOylation of SPOP, thus promoting its E3 ligase activity in the DDR.

Sleep is also an explicit health index closely related to mental health. This study aims to investigate the relationship between sleep, anxiety, depression, and perceived psychological stress among athletes, with a focus on sleep as a potential mediator in these mental health conditions.

A large number of studies have indicated that dysregulation of the ubiquitination, including ubiquitination and dysregulation, is associated with the occurrence and development of RCC. This review focuses on several abnormal signaling pathways caused by E3 ligases and deubiquitinases.

Raman spectroscopy is an extensively explored vibrational spectroscopic technique to analyze the biochemical composition and molecular structure of samples, which is often assumed to be non-destructive when carefully using proper laser power and exposure time. However, the inherently weak Raman signal and concurrent fluorescence interference often lead to Raman measurements with a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), especially for biological samples. Great efforts have been made to develop experimental approaches and/or numerical algorithms to improve the SNR.

The link between biological aging and prostate cancer (PCa) risk, particularly as indicated by elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, remains uncertain. This study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2001-2010) to explore this association. Biological age was assessed using Klemera-Doubal method age (KDMAge) and phenotypic age (PhenoAge).

Early diagnosis and prognosis monitoring is always significant in clinical practice, especially in distinguishing non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) from muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), due to the various depths of tumor invasion related to different therapeutic schedules and recurrence rates. Common diagnostic approaches are too invasive or generally inefficient in accuracy and specificity.

Methods: The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database was used to select patients with UTUC between 2010 and 2019.

Pancytopenia is a common blood disorder defined as the decrease of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets in the peripheral blood. Its genesis mechanism is typically complex and a variety of diseases have been found to be capable of causing pancytopenia, some of which are featured by their high mortality rates. Early judgement on the cause of pancytopenia can benefit timely and appropriate treatment to improve patient survival significantly.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs), as a new star of liquid biopsy, has attracted interest to complement inaccurate PSA screening and invasiveness of tissue biopsy. In this study, a panel of potential small EV (sEV) protein biomarkers is identified from PCa cell lines using label-free LC-MS/MS proteomics.

Background: The role of Eph receptors and related ephrin (EFN) ligands (as the largest family of transmembrane-bound RTKs) in immunomodulation in many types of cancer, especially bladder cancer (BLCA), is scarcely known.
Methods: A pan-cancer dataset was retrieved from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) to explore the relation between Eph receptor/EFN ligand family genes and immunomodulators and tumor-infiltrated immune cells (TIICs). Local BLCA, GSE32894, and GSE31684 cohorts were applied to validate.

The repair of a diseased ureter is an urgent clinical issue that needs to be solved. A tissue-engineered scaffold for ureteral replacement is currently insufficient due to its incompetent bioactivity, especially in long-segment abnormalities. The primary reason is the failure of urothelialization on scaffolds.
