Perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) are promising for both solar cells (SCs) and light emitting diodes (LEDs) for their excellent optoelectronic characteristics and solution-processable fabrication. One of the general limitations for these two kinds of devices is that high defect density and poor charge transport, resulting from the unavoidable amidation-induced PbX precipitation at high reaction temperature. In this work, an amidation-retarded synthesis strategy is proposed to prevent the PbX precipitation and subsequent defect formation.

However, their color purity is challenged by remarkable spectral broadening due to non-uniform size distribution and crystal defects. Here, a ligand-ion (TOP-Zn) complex-modulating nucleation strategy is proposed to depress spectral broadening.

We identified 13 relevant studies from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, encompassing disciplines such as fencing, taekwondo, karate, judo, and wrestling. The findings indicate that VR training can enhance athletes' sports skills and physical fitness, correct improper movements, provide training feedback, and, in some cases, surpass the effectiveness of traditional training methods.

This review examines the existing literature regarding the utilization of combat sports in virtual reality (VR) for disease rehabilitation and adaptive physical activity. A total of 18 studies were obtained from the Web of Science and Scopus databases. The results suggest that Boxing, the most studied combat sport in VR systems, has been primarily used to improve motor function and quality of life in patients with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, and stroke.

Background: Chronic non-specific low back pain (CNLBP) is a common condition, defined as pain lasting more than 3 months between the lower thoracic margin and gluteal folds, without identifiable tissue damage. Despite its low disability rate, the complex etiology and high recurrence impose significant health and socioeconomic burdens. According to European LBP guidelines, exercise therapy is the preferred treatment for CNLBP.

However, halide segregation and caused unstable spectra are the intrinsic problem in mixed-halide perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) originating from the lattice strain and the resulting defects in perovskite quantum dots (PQDs). Here, smaller transition metal cations are applied to replace Pb and release lattice strain, which avoids halogen escaping/halide vacancies forming to ensure high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) and stable spectra.

Perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) have great application prospects in fields such as displays and solar cells due to their adjustable band gap, high absorption coefficient, high carrier mobility, and solution processability. However, the ionic crystal characteristic of PeQDs and their surface ligands have led to problems such as solvent sensitivity, poor crystal stability, and difficulty in adjusting the photoelectric properties, which are challenges in high-quality PeQDs. Here, to solve the problem of fluorescence degradation caused by phase change and loss of surface ligands during the purification process of CsPbI QDs, this work develops a purification strategy that finely regulates the polarity of the purification solvent, to obtain high-purity perovskite.

Virtual reality (VR)-based mindfulness is a promising method to improve the health of older adults. Therefore, many attempts have been made to explore the application of VR-based mindfulness, such as VR meditation and mind-body exercises, in older adults. Generally, current studies indicate the heavy reliance on apparatus for implementing VR-based mindfulness interventions.

Objective: The objective of this meta-analysis is to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of different mind-body therapies in reducing the symptoms of schizophrenia.
Methods: A systematic search was performed using databases such as PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Scopus. Randomized controlled trials that assessed the effects of mind-body therapies on patients with schizophrenia were included.
Species differentiation and local adaptation in heterogeneous environments have attracted much attention, although little is known about the mechanisms involved. is an anadromous, brackish-water halfbeak that is widely distributed in coastal areas and hyperdiverse freshwater systems in China, making it an interesting model for research on phylogeography and local adaptation. Here, 156 individuals were sampled at eight sites from heterogeneous aquatic habitats to examine environmental and genetic contributions to phenotypic divergence.

However, current methods for generating and purifying ssDNA provides either low yield due to ssDNA loss during the gel purification process or low specificity due to tertiary structural damage of ssDNA by alkaline or exonuclease treatment in removing dsDNA and by-products. This study developed an indirect purification method that provides a high yield and quality ssDNA sublibrary.
