Objective: To conduct a systematic evaluation of the impact of levothyroxine (L-T4) therapy on birth outcomes in pregnancies complicated by subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH).
Methods: A thorough literature review was conducted across several databases, including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Sinomed, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI), and VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP), to investigate the impact of L-T4 treatment of SCH during pregnancy on birth outcomes in offspring. Based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, two researchers were appointed to extract data and assess the quality of the literature.
Background: Twin pregnancies, accounting for a rising proportion of births globally, present significant public health challenges in China. Birthweight discordance (BWD), a critical complication, remains understudied in its epidemiological context, particularly regarding its population-level associations with adverse neonatal outcomes.
Methods: This multi-center, retrospective cohort study leveraged data from 21 hospitals across 18 Chinese cities (2018-2020) to assess BWD and its epidemiological implications.
Background: Colorectal cancer liver metastasis (CRLM) remains a major challenge in oncology, with the tumor microenvironment playing a crucial role in disease progression. This study investigates the function of the Tripartite Motif Containing 26 (TRIM26) in the CRLM microenvironment, focusing on its regulation of tumor-associated macrophage (TAM) polarization and its implications for metastatic growth.
Methods: Using established mouse CRLM models, we characterized TAM phenotypes using flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
Objective: While prepregnancy overweight or obesity is known to negatively impact maternal health, its effect on twin infants is not well understood. Therefore, we conducted a nationwide, multicenter retrospective study to investigate the association between maternal prepregnancy weight and health outcomes in twins.
Study Design: This study collected data from 22 healthcare units across 12 regions in China between January 2018 and December 2020.

To explore the difference in metabolism and transcription between seeds experiencing space flight and ground seeds after morphological post ripening, this study utilized ginseng seeds experiencing space flight and ground seeds as materials. Metabolomics and transcriptomics analyses were conducted using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS) and high-throughput transcriptome sequencing(RNA-seq) technologies, so as to identify differential terpenoid metabolites, differential endogenous hormones, and differentially expressed genes. The results showed that through metabolomics analysis, a total of 22 differential terpenoid metabolites were identified in the experimental and control groups, including chikusetsusaponin FK_7, ginsenoside F_2, ginseno-side K, majoroside R_1, ginsenoside Re_5, 12-hydroxyabietic acid, etc; through transcriptomics analysis, 15 differential terpenoid metabolism-related differentially expressed genes were identified in the experimental and control groups, including FCase, AACT, PMK, etc, and these genes were integrated into the pathway based on the MEP and MVA.

However, the islet inflammation during transplantation significantly reduces the surgical outcome rate, which is related to the polarization of macrophages. Chitooligosaccharides (COS) was previously reported which could modulate the immune system, alleviate inflammation, regulate gut microecology, and repair the intestinal barrier.

Iron plays a crucial role in plant chlorophyll synthesis, respiration, and plant growth. However, excessive iron content can contribute to ginseng poisoning. We previously discovered that the application of silicon (Si) and potassium (K) can mitigate the iron toxicity on ginseng.

Objectives: To investigate the risk factors for bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in twin preterm infants with a gestational age of <34 weeks, and to provide a basis for early identification of BPD in twin preterm infants in clinical practice.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed for the twin preterm infants with a gestational age of <34 weeks who were admitted to 22 hospitals nationwide from January 2018 to December 2020. According to their conditions, they were divided into group A (both twins had BPD), group B (only one twin had BPD), and group C (neither twin had BPD).
is a perennial plant well known for its versatile medicinal properties, including hepatoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, estrogen-like, and antidepressant characteristics. It has been reported that plant age affects the quality of . This study aimed to explore the differential metabolome and transcriptome of 2-year (PN2) and 3-year-old (PN3) plant root samples.

Root exudates are the medium of material and signal exchange between plants and soil and are the key factors in the regulation of rhizosphere microecology. Rhizosphere microorganisms are an important part of the rhizosphere microecology of medicinal plants, and the interaction between root exudates and rhizosphere microorganisms has an important influence on the growth and quality formation of medicinal plants.

The content of available phosphorus in soil is generally low worldwide. Phosphorus, one of the necessary macroelements for plant growth and development, plays an important role in cell structure, material composition and energy metabolism, and signal transduction in plants. Phosphate transporter(PHT) genes are important for plant growth and development, root morphogenesis, secondary metabolism, hormone response, and phosphorus balance.

Chromium (Cr) contamination in soil poses a serious security risk for the development of medicine and food with ginseng as the raw material. Microbiome are critical players in the functioning and service of soil ecosystems, but their feedback to Cr-contaminated ginseng growth is still poorly understood. To study this hypothesis, we evaluated the effects of microbiome and different Cr exposure on the soil microbial community using Illumina HiSeq high-throughput sequencing.
