NaCl, a primary component of seawater, is a cost-effective alternative electrolyte for CO electroreduction; however, suppressing competitive hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) remains a challenge for efficient CORR. Herein, a novel Zn-MOF {[Zn(tz)(HCOO)]·2HO} (1, Htz = 1,2,3-triazole) was prepared, exhibiting excellent stability in 0.5 M NaCl electrolyte for 16 weeks.

Dysregulation of glucose homeostasis causes hyperglycaemia and glucose intolerance, hallmark features of type 2 diabetes. While SEC16 homologue B (SEC16B), an endoplasmic reticulum export factor, has been linked to obesity, type 2 diabetes and lipid metabolism, its role in glucose regulation remains poorly defined.

However, the mechanisms that suppress adipose thermogenesis and energy dissipation in obesity are not fully understood. This study identifies mitochondrial carrier homolog 2 (MTCH2), an obesity susceptibility gene, as a negative regulator of energy homeostasis across flies, rodents, and humans.

However, because of the competition between reaction sequences and pathways among substrates, the efficient synthesize the desired product is a great challenge. Herein, a porous noble-metal-free framework (Cu-TCA) was synthesized, which can highly effectively catalyze the multicomponent conversion of CO by modulating reaction pathways.

In this study, we investigate how non-nutritive sweetener sucralose to promote acute food intake in the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. Our results showed that acute exposure to NNSs sweetness induces a robust hyperphagic response in flies.

Recently, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been used as ideal emulsifiers stabilizing Pickering emulsions for interfacial catalysis. Although Pickering emulsions stabilized by core-shell MOFs have significant importance in practical studies, to date there have been very limited reports on this topic.

This study involved the descriptive analysis of demographic characteristics, clinical symptoms, and tongue and pulse features. The χ~2 test was conducted to analyze the distribution of syndrome elements and their combinations at diffe-rent stages of CHD, so as to reveal the clinical characteristics and syndrome patterns at various pathological stages of CHD.

Here, a modified metal-organic framework sensor Tb@Zn-TDA-80 with dual emission centers was prepared using a post-modified luminescence center strategy. The obtained Tb@Zn-TDA-80 can serve as a CTS sensor with high sensitivity and selectivity.

Halide perovskites are crystalline semiconductors with exceptional optoelectronic properties, rapidly developing toward large-scale applications. Lead (II) (Pb ) is the core element used to prepare halide perovskites. Pb can displace key 2+ elements, including calcium, zinc and iron, that regulate vital physiological functions.

The conveying performance test of coal gangue slurry was carried out, and based on this, a simulation test of coal gangue slurry caving areas was designed. The diffusion and flow laws of coal gangue slurry under the same inclination angle were summarized, and the field test of fluidization filling in the caving areas was conducted.

This study aimed to develop a diagnostic model for the risk of CVD in EP patients based on the available features and multidimensional clinical data.
Methods: A total of 298 EP patients from Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were retrospectively included in this study from May 5, 2008, to March 3, 2022.
The "death cap", Amanita phalloides, is the world's most poisonous mushroom, responsible for 90% of mushroom-related fatalities. The most fatal component of the death cap is α-amanitin. Despite its lethal effect, the exact mechanisms of how α-amanitin poisons humans remain unclear, leading to no specific antidote available for treatment.

Thermocatalysis of CO into high valuable products is an efficient and green method for mitigating global warming and other environmental problems, of which Noble-metal-free metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are one of the most promising heterogeneous catalysts for CO thermocatalysis, and many excellent researches have been published. Hence, this review focuses on the valuable products obtained from various CO conversion reactions catalyzed by noble-metal-free MOFs, such as cyclic carbonates, oxazolidinones, carboxylic acids, N-phenylformamide, methanol, ethanol, and methane. We classified these published references according to the types of products, and analyzed the methods for improving the catalytic efficiency of MOFs in CO reaction.
