Elemental contents are effective fingerprints for Pu-erh tea's geographical traceability, which is crucial for consumer protection and sustainable development. Region and processing methods are key factors influencing the tea's elemental fingerprint. This study analyzed 28 elements in Pu-erh tea samples from three Yunnan production regions subjected to different processing stages in the year of 2023.

Tfh cells play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of ITP by promoting the production of anti-platelet autoantibodies. Recent studies have shown that CXCR5 T cells not only possess "Tfh-like" cell functions but also can induce Tfh cell differentiation.

Background And Aims: Acrylamide (ACR) induces hepatotoxicity, yet its underlying mechanisms remain incompletely understood. Our prior proteomic analysis of serum from occupationally ACR-exposed individuals identified significantly elevated levels of eukaryotic elongation factor 2 (eEF2). Given that eEF2 activity is regulated by its phosphorylation status, which is solely mediated by eukaryotic elongation factor 2 kinase (eEF2K), we investigated the role of eEF2K in ACR-induced hepatic injury.

Objectives: Gastric cancer (GC) ranks as the fourth most prevalent malignancy globally and is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality. This study aims to comprehensively investigate the pathogenesis of gastric cancer and propose innovative strategies for early diagnosis.
Methods: Leveraging data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), we identified that hsa-miR-100-5p exhibits significantly reduced expression in gastric cancer tissues compared to normal tissues.
Background: Concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) remains the cornerstone of treatment for patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). However, data on long-term survival, particularly 10-year outcomes, are limited.
Methods: This retrospective study evaluated the clinical efficacy and acute hematologic toxicity of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in 177 newly diagnosed patients with locoregionally moderate or advanced NPC.
This study aims to establish and validate prediction models based on novel machine learning (ML) algorithms for augmented renal clearance (ARC) in critically ill patients with sepsis. Patients with sepsis were extracted from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care IV (MIMICIV) database. Seven ML algorithms were applied for model construction.

Activation of methane under mild conditions is a challenging subject due to its inherent chemical inertness. Metal doping has been proven to be an effective strategy to optimize the catalysts' performance for methane conversion; however, the detailed mechanism underlying doping to regulate the reactivity of the bimetallic active sites remains poorly understood at the strictly molecular level. Herein, the reactivity of atomically precise bimetallic cluster anions, CuTa ( = 0-4), toward methane has been investigated at room temperature by state-of-the-art mass spectrometry in conjunction with density functional theory calculations.

However, while many studies have confirmed that PPND has a significant impact on internalizing and externalizing problems in children and adolescents, there are still some studies that have not found a clear association. This highlights the need for a comprehensive synthesis of existing evidence to clarify the relationship.

Objective: To explore the impact of low miR-369-3p expression on the resistance of PC-9 cells to osimertinib.
Methods: The PC-9/AZD9291 cell line was established with osimertinib. Real-time quantitative PCR was employed to measure the expression levels of miR-369-3p in both PC-9 and PC-9/AZD9291 cells, and Western blotting was utilized to detect PTPN12 protein expression.
A cobalt-catalyzed desulfonylative cross-coupling of glycosyl sulfones with organozinc reagents toward the stereoselective synthesis of C-glycosides is reported. The new C-glycoside synthesis proceeds under mild reaction conditions and exhibits tolerance to a range of functional groups. Diverse alkynylated, arylated, and alkenylated products are formed with high efficiency and excellent diastereoselectivity.

Peroxiredoxin 1 (PRDX1) is a member of the peroxidase family of antioxidant enzymes. However, the role and mechanism of PRDX1 in acrylamide (ACR)-induced nerve damage have not been reported. We used SD rats and well-differentiated rat pheochromocytoma cells (PC-12 cells) to established in vivo and in vitro models of ACR.

Objectives: To evaluate preterm white matter injury (PWMI) in neonatal rats using multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) combined with histological assessments and to explore its underlying mechanisms.
Methods: Healthy 3-day-old Sprague-Dawley neonatal rats were randomly divided into a sham operation group and a PWMI group (=12 in each group). A PWMI model was established in neonatal rats through hypoxia-ischemia.

Background: The combination of sorafenib with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is being investigated for its potential to improve outcomes in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of this combined treatment strategy in enhancing overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) compared to monotherapies.
Methods: A systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines.
Detecting early stages of cardiovascular disease from short-duration Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals is challenging. However, long-duration ECG data are susceptible to various types of noise during acquisition. To tackle the problem, Subspace Search Variational Mode Decomposition (SSVMD) was proposed, which determines the optimal solution by continuously narrowing the parameter subspace and implements data preprocessing by removing baseline drift noise and high-frequency noise modes.

The new method involves the generation of a S(IV) intermediate, followed by ligand coupling of the glycosyl and heteroaryl groups to yield heteroaryl -glycosides. The diverse heteroaryl -glycosides were achieved with good efficiency.

The conversion of methane and carbon dioxide to form C products is of great interest but presents a long-standing grand challenge due to the significant obstacle of activating the inert C-H and C═O bonds as well as forming the C-C bonds. Herein, the consecutive C-C coupling of CH and CO was realized by using heteronuclear metal cations CuTa, and the desorption of HC═C═O molecules was evidenced by state-of-the-art mass spectrometry. The CuTa reaction system is significantly different from the homonuclear metal systems of Cu and Ta.
