Parents of children with ASD face significantly greater parenting challenges than those raising typically developing children due to prolonged exposure to their children's developmental disorders, emotional distress, and atypical behaviors, underscoring the urgency of addressing their mental health concerns. This study examined the relationship between fear of negative evaluation (FNE) and social anxiety in parents of children with ASD, with a focus on the mediating roles of perceived social support and coping styles. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 585 parents of children with ASD using validated instruments: the Brief Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale (BFNE), the Social Anxiety Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale, and the Simple Coping Style Questionnaire.

Background: Mitochondria-associated membranes (MAMs) regulate cellular Ca and contribute to cardiovascular disease pathogenesis. The IP3R-GRP75-VDAC1 complex is the primary MAMs pathway regulating Ca flux and cardiomyocyte calcium homeostasis. Yiqi Huoxue decoction (YQHX), a Traditional Chinese Medicine formula, shows potential for myocardial infarction (MI) prevention and treatment.

Agricultural machinery input (AMI) plays a crucial role in promoting agricultural green development and advancing agricultural modernization. Based on panel data from 130 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) from 2013 to 2022, we employ the spatial Durbin model for empirical analysis and draws the following. (1) The AMI in the YREB promotes local agricultural green production efficiency (AGPE) but inhibits that of neighboring areas.

A novel cobweb-like disk resonator gyroscope (CDRG) is introduced in this paper, which integrates a multi-bit electro-mechanical sigma-delta modulation (ΣΔΜ) system to significantly expand the input angular rate signal range, improving performance metrics like signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and noise reduction. This design seeks to overcome the limitations associated with single-bit ΣΔΜ gyroscope systems by incorporating a linear multi-bit force feedback mechanism that utilizes nonlinear actuators driven by pulse density modulation. The proposed gyroscope system effectively broadens the input range without necessitating higher actuation voltages.

Consequently, d-amino acid metabolism is an attractive target for antibiotic discovery and the development of bacteria-specific imaging agents. d-Fluoroalanine and the deuterium-labeled analogue fludalanine (MK641) were originally explored as antibiotics by Merck but failed in clinical trials due to unaccepted toxicity.

A deuterated analogue, l-3-[F]fluoroalanine-d (l-[F]FAla-d), was also prepared to improve metabolic stability. Both l-[F]FAla and l-[F]FAla-d were rapidly taken up by 9L/lacZ, MIA PaCa-2, and U87MG cells and were shown to be substrates for the alanine-serine-cysteine (ASC) amino acid transporter.

Peritoneal fibrosis together with increased capillaries is the primary cause of peritoneal dialysis failure. Mesothelial cell loss is an initiating event for peritoneal fibrosis. We find that the elevated glucose concentrations in peritoneal dialysate drive mesothelial cell pyroptosis in a manner dependent on caspase-3 and Gasdermin E, driving downstream inflammatory responses, including the activation of macrophages.

This study also aimed to demonstrate the therapeutic effect of safflower acid on oxidative stress in cardiomyocytes and explore whether its mechanism is related to the effect of mitophagy. Here, an H2O2-based oxidative stress model was constructed and assessed the degree of oxidative stress injury of cardiomyocytes by detecting the levels of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatine kinase (CK), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GSH Px).

Antibiotic resistance has posed a great threat to human health. The emergence of antibiotic resistance has always outpaced the development of new antibiotics, and the investment in the development of new antibiotics is diminishing. Supramolecular self-assembly of the conventional antibacterial agents has been proved to be a promising and versatile strategy to tackle the serious problem of antibiotic resistance.

This paper describes a novel rate and rate-integrating mode-switchable axisymmetric gyroscope. A precession angle tracking algorithm is developed to enable the gyro to switch automatically between rate and rate-integrating modes at preset rate points through a digital control system within the gyro. We also propose a vibrating amplitude control method for the rate-integrating mode that directly extracts the angular rate output to ensure switching stability.

The quadrature coupling error is an important factor that affects the detection output of microelectromechanical system (MEMS) gyroscopes. In this study, two quadrature error control methods, quadrature force-to-rebalance control (Mode I) and quadrature stiffness control (Mode II) were analyzed. We obtained the main factors affecting the zero-rate output (ZRO) under force-to-rebalance (FTR) closed-loop detection.

SIRT1 functions as a longevity factor to counteract vascular aging induced by high glucose. Our previous study revealed that rutaecarpine, the natural agonist of transient receptor potential vanilloid subtype 1 (TRPV1), prevented high glucose-induced endothelial dysfunction. The present study aims to evaluate the effects of rutaecarpine on endothelial cell senescence induced by high glucose, and focus on the regulatory effect on SIRT1 expression.

In high-reliability applications, the health condition of the MEMS gyroscope needs to be known in real time to ensure that the system does not fail due to the wrong output signal. Because the MEMS gyroscope self-test based on the principle of electrostatic force cannot be performed during the working state. We propose that by monitoring the quadrature error signal of the MEMS gyroscope in real time, an online self-test of the MEMS gyroscope can be realized.

Myocardial infarction can lead to ventricular remodeling and arrhythmia, which is closely related to nerve remodeling. Our previous study found that decoction (YQHX) can improve ventricular remodeling and reduce myocardial damage. Therefore, in this study, we observed the effect of YQHX on cardiac neural remodeling and cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and its possible mechanism.

Chemodynamic therapy (CDT) is a promising therapeutic modality with transition metal ions and endogenous HO as reagents, but its efficiency is impaired by low endogenous HO levels and nonregeneration of metal ions. Most intracellular HO supplement strategies use oxidases and are intensively dependent on oxygen participation. The hypoxia microenvironments of solid tumors weaken their performance.

Synthetic polymersomes have structure similarity to bio-vesicles and could disassemble in response to stimuli for "on-demand" release of encapsulated cargos. Though widely applied as a drug delivery carrier, the burst release mode with structure complete destruction is usually taken for most responsive polymersomes, which would shorten the effective drug reaction time and impair the therapeutic effect. Inspired by the cell organelles' communication mode via regulating membrane permeability for transportation control, we highlight here a biomimetic polymersome with sustained drug release over a specific period of time via near-infrared (NIR) pre-activation.
