Objective: Metabolism-related lncRNAs may play a significant role in the occurrence and development of breast cancer. This study aims to identify metabolism-related lncRNAs with high predictive value for prognosis and to construct a model that can predict the prognosis of breast cancer individually.
Methods: Transcriptome data and clinical data of patients with breast cancer were retrieved from the TCGA database, and metabolism-related genes were sourced from the GSEA database.
Understanding bacterial responses to antimicrobials is crucial for identifying tolerance mechanisms and for developing new therapies. Using mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and proteomics, this study examines the response of Staphylococcus aureus to linezolid (LZD) treatment. Under LZD stress, significant fluctuations were observed in key metabolic pathways such as amino acid biosynthesis and the TCA cycle, alongside a general increase in ribosomal protein complexes.

Methods: This study pooled 27,620 hospitalizations recorded for elderly diabetes patients from the Beijing Elderly Influenza Vaccination Information Registration Database (2013-2018) and the Beijing Urban Employee Basic Medical Insurance Database (2013-2018). Generalized linear regression and propensity score matching were conducted to estimate the effects of influenza vaccination on hospitalization outcomes (in-hospital all-cause mortality, readmission, length and costs of hospitalization), adjusting for measurable confounding factors.
