To address the demands for wide-range and high-precision current measurement, this paper proposes a novel current sensor design that integrates spin sensing technology, magnetic shunt effect, and a multi-sensor data fusion algorithm. The spin valve sensors accurately detect the magnetic field generated by the signal current, while the soft magnetic shunt structure attenuates the magnetic field to a level suitable for the spin valve sensors. Background: This study investigated cortical morphological changes in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients diagnosed with anxiety and/or depression, all of whom exhibited no major neuropsychiatric symptoms and had normal conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings. We also further examined the correlation between these morphological alterations and clinical characteristics.

Methods: Employing advanced structural MRI (sMRI) techniques, we implemented a dual analytical approach combining voxel-based morphometry (VBM) and surface-based morphometry (SBM) to assess structural differences across three cohorts comprising 59 SLE patients with anxiety and/or depression (SLE-AD), 35 SLE patients with no anxiety and/or depression (SLE-NAD), and 48 age-matched healthy controls (HCs).

Background/aims: Berberine ursodeoxycholate (HTD1801) has been shown to significantly reduce liver fat content (LFC) in an 18-week, placebo-controlled Phase 2 study in patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this assessment was to establish proof of concept in liver histologic improvement with HTD1801 treatment based on preclinical and clinical evidence.

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are predominately induced by KIT mutants. In this study, we found that four and a half LIM domains 2 (FHL2) was highly expressed in GISTs and KIT signaling dramatically increased FHL2 transcription while FHL2 inhibited KIT transcription. In addition, our results showed that FHL2 associated with KIT and increased the ubiquitination of both wild-type KIT and primary KIT mutants in GISTs, leading to decreased expression and activation of KIT although primary KIT mutants were less inhibited by FHL2 than wild-type KIT.

To investigate the value of self-developed air-free laparoscopic auxiliary instruments in the clinical application of thyroid diseases. The clinical data of 70 transaxillary and 45 transareolar air-free laparoscopic surgeries for thyroid cancer and 40 conventional open surgeries were retrospectively compared. The transaxillary and transareolar laparoscopic groups had significantly longer operative times than the open group, while the postoperative satisfaction was higher in the endoscopic group than in the open group.
