Wearable cuffless blood pressure (BP) technology is emerging as a critical tool for monitoring hypertension, the leading risk factor of most cardiovascular diseases. However, current cuffless BP methods are not accurate enough for clinical use, because they mainly use single or dual modalities/features as inputs for estimation. To address this challenge, we propose multimodal McBP-Net, built with hybrid CNN-LSTM architecture combing two-layer convolution operations with four-layer LSTMs to capture both local signal features and temporal dependencies for continuous dynamic beat-to-beat BP estimation.

Blood pressure (BP) measuring devices are essential tools across all areas of medicine, where BP is used as a vital sign for assessing cardiovascular status, guiding clinical decisions in acute medicine, critical care, and routine monitoring of hospitalized patients. International standards for BP measuring devices establish safety and accuracy criteria to ensure the reliability and usability of these instruments. The standardization of BP device validation protocols is vital to guarantee the accuracy and consistency of readings, which are crucial for effective medical decision-making.

In order to explore the influence of shocks by multiple HPAB on the cumulative damage evolution of coal, shocks by multiple HPAB experiments were conducted using simulated coal samples and a self-developed HPAB device. During the experimental testing process, The wave velocity of coal samples under shocks by multiple HPAB was tested using an ultrasonic tester, and the time-domain signal of the ultrasonic wave was converted into a frequency-domain signal using Fourier transform theory.

Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor (BTKi) showed promising effectiveness. Orelabrutinib is a second-generation BTKi with a high concentration in cerebrospinal fluid.

Pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) has great potential as a micro-destructive method in treating refractory TN, but the long-term outcomes of PRF have been reported to be unsatisfactory. Autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can reduce inflammation and promote nerve repair and has been proven effective in a previously published case report.

Background: Diffuse midline glioma (DMG) is an aggressive pediatric brain tumor with limited treatment options. Although natural killer (NK) cell-based immunotherapy is promising, its efficacy remains limited, necessitating strategies to enhance NK cell cytotoxicity. Histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibition demonstrate potential to enhance NK-mediated killing.

Early noninvasive recognition of the H3K27M mutation is paramount for clinical decision-making in treating BSGs.
Methods: Plasma and urine samples were prospectively collected from BSG patients before biopsy or surgical resection and were chronologically divided into discovery, test, and validation cohorts.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is one of the most lethal adult brain tumors with limited effective therapeutic options. Immunotherapy targeting B7-H3 (CD276) has shown promising efficacy in the treatment of gliomas. However, the response to this treatment varies among glioma patients due to individual differences.

Methods: We have searched 8 databases, including PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, WOS, Epistemonikos, CNKI, WAN-FANG Database, and CBM, and were selected for the clinical trials about PCNSL. A total of 37 studies were included in our analysis, consisting of 6 randomized controlled trials and 31 single-arm clinical studies.
Perioperative hypothermia is a frequent clinical complication resulting from the cold environment of the operating room and prolonged skin exposure, leading to adverse outcomes and increased healthcare burdens. To address this issue, this narrative review discusses in detail the currently common warming strategies for perioperative hypothermia .Forced air warming (FAW) systems are widely recognized as the most effective intervention for maintaining core body temperature.

This clinical trial seeks to evaluate the efficacy profile of preemptive application of a topical 5% lidocaine patch in alleviating post-craniotomy pain.
Methods: This was a multi-centric, prospective randomized placebo-controlled triple-blind clinical trial.
Glioblastoma represents one of the most aggressive cancers, characterized by severely limited therapeutic options. Despite extensive investigations into this brain malignancy, cellular and molecular components governing its immunosuppressive microenvironment remain incompletely understood. Here, we identify a distinct neutrophil subpopulation, termed disease-specific suppressive granulocytes (DSSGs), present in human glioblastoma and lower-grade gliomas.

We aim to test the primary hypothesis that perioperative administration of dexmedetomidine reduces the incidence of postoperative delirium in patients undergoing neurosurgical resections of temporal glioma.

However, the existing ultrasonic intelligent segmentation models are mainly based on B-mode grayscale images, which lack sufficient clarity and contrast compared to natural images. Previous research has indicated that ultrasound radiofrequency (RF) signals contain rich spectral information that could be beneficial for tissue recognition but is lost in grayscale images.

Methods: Opal™ Multiplex immunofluorescence staining was performed on glioma tissues to detect the expression of targets, and biomarkers related to the phenotypes.
Results: High variety of CAR-T target expression among glioma subtypes was observed.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common brain tumor and remains incurable. Primary GBM cultures are widely used tools for drug screening, but there is a lack of genomic and pharmacological characterization for these primary GBM cultures. Here, we collect 50 patient-derived glioma cell (PDGC) lines and characterize them by whole genome sequencing, RNA sequencing, and drug response screening.

Early ultrasound screening for breast cancer reduces mortality significantly. The main evaluation criterion for breast ultrasound screening is the Breast Imaging-Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS), which categorizes breast lesions into categories 0-6 based on ultrasound grayscale images. Due to the limitations of ultrasound grayscale imaging, lesions with categories 4 and 5 necessitate additional biopsy for the confirmation of benign or malignant status.

Surgical resection followed by radiotherapy (RT) is recommended for malignant meningioma, but poor outcome is unavoidable. To improve the efficacy of RT in malignant meningioma, a targeted radiosensitizer can be added. Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT), highly expressed in high-grade meningiomas, may play a role in determining the radioresponse.

Traditional brightness-mode ultrasound imaging is primarily constrained by the low specificity among tissues and the inconsistency among sonographers. The major cause is the imaging method that represents the amplitude of echoes as brightness and ignores other detailed information, leaving sonographers to interpret based on organ contours that depend highly on specific imaging planes. Other ultrasound imaging modalities, color Doppler imaging or shear wave elastography, overlay motion or stiffness information to brightness-mode images.
