Thermally evaporated perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) hold great promise for high-quality display applications due to their exceptional large-area uniformity and ease of pixelation and integration. Beyond efficiency considerations, display technologies demanded exceptionally high luminance performance from LEDs. While the brightness of blue and green PeLEDs had progressed rapidly, the performance of red PeLEDs lagged significantly.

Background: Biological age (BA) is a more accurate indicator of aging-related functional decline and disease risk than chronological age (CA). Insulin resistance and chronic inflammation are established hallmarks linked to the aging process; however, their synergistic relationship with biological age acceleration is not yet well understood.
Methods: To evaluate the independent and synergistic associations of estimated glucose disposal rate (eGDR), a marker of insulin sensitivity, and neutrophil-to-albumin ratio (NPAR), a reliable marker of systemic inflammation that also captures its impact on metabolic processes, with biological age acceleration estimated by Klemera-Doubal method biological age (KDM-BA) and PhenoAge.
The predominant objective in large-scale poultry farming has consistently been to enhance broiler. In this context, the supplementing of probiotics, specifically Lactobacilli, has emerged as a promising strategy to improve production efficiency. Numerous studies have demonstrated that Lactobacilli could modulate intestinal microbiota.

However, multi-source co-evaporation faces challenges such as difficulty in regulating crystallinity, especially for red perovskite light-emitting diodes, whose external quantum efficiencies are still less than 2%. Here, we demonstrate a facile layer-by-layer thermal-evaporation strategy to fabricate high-quality perovskite-emitting films with tunable emission wavelengths.

Soil cadmium (Cd) pollution has become increasingly severe, negatively affecting plant growth, soil safety, the ecological balance, and public health. Phytoremediation technology is an effective method for remediating soil Cd contamination because of its low cost, environmentally friendly nature, and minimal soil disturbance. However, phytoremediation efficiency is affected by factors such as the plant species, Cd concentration, and soil environment.

The importance of abscisic acid (ABA) in regulating phytoremediation processes has been widely recognized, but the physiological and molecular mechanisms underlying ABA-mediated Cd uptake and detoxification in hyperaccumulators remain unclear.

The Maternal and Health Department of National Health Commission China and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) China Office jointly developed a combined online and in-person IYCF counselling training course for primary health workers in rural China. This study aims to test feasibility of the combined training model in rural China.

This study addresses this gap by examining the characteristics of sibling empathy and its associations with general empathy and sibling relationship quality.
Methods: A total of 222 children aged 3 to 6 years from two-child families in Zhejiang Province, China, participated in this study.
Background: Caregivers' feeding practices significantly influence children's eating behaviours. We previously developed a Caregivers' Complementary Feeding Practice Scale (CCFPS) for children aged 6-23 months in China. We aimed to comprehensively assess the CCFPS's reliability and validity, thus establishing a reliable and robust tool for evaluating caregivers' feeding practices.

Method: By integrating uses and gratifications theory (UGT), self-determination theory (SDT), and the technology acceptance model (TAM), the research examines how these AI-driven elements influence user behavior on marathon-related social media platforms. A quantitative approach using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to data from 400 Chinese marathon enthusiasts.
In this study, polyethersulfone (PES)/sulfonated polyethersulfone (SPES) composite nanofiltration membranes doped with different contents of monolayer titanium carbide nanosheets (TiCT) were prepared by the nonsolvent induced phase inversion (NIPS) method. The effects of TiCT on membrane structure, separation performance and antibacterial activity were investigated systematically. The results demonstrated that the viscosity of the casting solution increased significantly with the increasing content of TiCT.

In this study, wormwood essential oil (WEO) is successfully encapsulated within black phosphorus (BP) using a physical extrusion technique. Subsequently, this composite is encapsulated within biocompatible gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) and hyaluronic acid methacrylate (HAMA) hydrogels to create multifunctional hydrogel dressing (WEO@BP/GH).

Current protective clothing often lacks sufficient comfort to ensure efficient performance of healthcare workers. Developing protective textiles with high air and moisture permeability is a potential and effective solution to discomfort of medical protective clothing. However, realizing the facile production of a protective textile that combines safety and comfort remains a challenge.

However, membrane fouling due to microbial activity remains a critical challenge in the practical use of these membranes. Despite this, research into the antibacterial capabilities of PES/SPES composite membranes is scarce.

Clinical and epidemiological studies indicate a significant comorbidity between TLE and MDD; however, the shared molecular mechanisms underlying this relationship remain unclear. This study aims to explore the common key genes associated with TLE and MDD through a systematic analysis of gene expression profiles, elucidate their underlying molecular pathological mechanisms, and evaluate the potential applications of these genes in diagnostic and therapeutic contexts.

Wetlands, one of the largest source of methane (CH) on Earth, are undergoing extensive disturbance globally, resulting in profound impacts on global changes. This study conducted a comprehensive global meta-analysis of field studies to assess the effects of wetland disturbance on CH emissions and the key factors influencing these changes. Our analysis indicates that while CH emissions generally decrease following wetland disturbance, the global warming potential does not necessarily diminish compared to that of natural wetlands.

On the Loess Plateau, a wide range of vegetation restoration strategies have been implemented to control land degradation. However, the thorough quantification of soil GHG emissions triggered by different modes of vegetation restoration is insufficient.

However, the practical application of 2D GO layered membranes suffers from instability in aqueous solutions as the interlayer -spacing of GO membranes is prone to expansion caused by the hydration effect. In this study, the effects of the ethylenediamine (EDA) addition amount on the structure, crosslinking mechanism and separation performance of GO membranes were investigated systematically, and membrane performance was evaluated using water permeability and dye/salt rejection tests.
