Background And Objective: To develop an end-to-end artificial intelligence solution-video-based Multi-Point Tracking Network (MPTN), for detecting and tracking atrioventricular junction (AVJ) points from cardiovascular magnetic resonance and deriving AVJ motion parameters.

Methods: The MPTN model consists of two modules: AVJ point detection and AVJ motion tracking. The detection module utilizes convolutional-based feature extraction and elastic regression to detect all candidate AVJ points.

The semi-hydrogenation of ethynylbenzene is a fundamental reaction in the synthesis of polymer precursors. However, achieving a balance between catalytic activity and styrene selectivity remains a significant challenge due to the risk of over-hydrogenation. Herein, we design ternary PtCoCe rare earth alloys to synergistically regulate electronic states and adsorption geometries, thereby enhancing selective hydrogenation.

Aims: Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR)-derived pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP) has demonstrated diagnostic and prognostic utility in heart failure patients. However, its clinical value in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) remains undetermined. This study investigates the relationship between CMR-derived PCWP, myocardial injury, and left ventricular (LV) remodelling in re-perfused acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

Electrospinning nanofibers possesses several properties that enhance wound healing and are widely utilized in wound dressings. Most natural polymers, including a variety of polysaccharides and proteins such as chitosan, hyaluronic acid, silk fibroin, collagen, alginate, and zein, have good biocompatibility and abundant bioactivity and are considered beneficial materials for promoting wound healing. However, natural polymers' stability and mechanical properties are poor, affecting their application in electrospinning to a certain extent.

Cholangiocarcinoma is a highly heterogeneous malignant tumor, including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, hepatoportal cholangiocarcinoma and distal cholangiocarcinoma. Its incidence is increasing worldwide and currently accounts for approximately 15% of all primary liver cancers and 3% of all gastrointestinal malignancies. There is a lack of early diagnostic methods for cholangiocarcinoma, and the overall treatment effect is poor, with a 5-year survival rate of less than 25%.

Objectives: Quantitative coronary angiography (QCA) has significantly contributed to the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. This study aimed to construct and validate a QCA-based prediction model, represented as a nomogram, for predicting ischemic lesions defined by invasive fractional flow reserve (FFR) ≤ 0.80.

Background: Hysteroscopy, a minimally invasive gynecological procedure, requires effective sedation for patient comfort and surgical success. Remimazolam Besylate, a new ultra-short-acting benzodiazepine, offers potential for safe sedation, but the optimal dose for postoperative outcomes is unclear. This study evaluated the effects of different doses of Remimazolam Besylate on postoperative sedation, pain, and adverse reactions in hysteroscopic surgery patients.

Aurantii Fructus (AF), a medicine-food homology substance, is valued for its distinctive aroma and health-promoting properties, and has been widely used in food, condiments, and traditional Chinese medicine. However, the raw form's irritating properties limit its direct application, and stir-frying with bran mitigates this drawback, enhancing its suitability for food applications. This study investigated the dynamic changes in AF's multi-dimensional parameters (including physical, chemical, and biological) during the stir-frying with bran process, aiming to elucidate the underlying processing mechanisms.

Coronary artery calcification score (CACS), also known as the Agatston score, is a significant prognostic tool for cardiovascular disease (CVD) that utilizes computed tomography (CT). We expand our previously proposed algorithm, Residual-block Inspired Coordinate Attention U-Net (RICAU-Net), to evaluate its generalizability on CT data from previously unseen scanners for lesion-specific CAC segmentation. The multi-vendor datasets were 1,108 CT scans acquired by Siemens, GE, Philips, and Toshiba.

A number of cardioprotective pharmacological agents are not effective in diabetic hearts. The role of AGGF1-EPCs therapy in diabetic ischaemia-reperfusion(I/R) injury and the underlying mechanism by which AGGF1 regulates EPCs under hyperglycemia (HG) + hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) stress are still unclear. We observed that the damaging effects of HG + H/R on EPCs were abolished by AGGF1.

The scientific evaluation of canal route schemes is a crucial aspect of canal engineering design, directly affecting construction costs and overall benefits. Addressing this multi-attribute decision-making problem, this study establishes a comprehensive evaluation system: Initially, a multi-level evaluation system comprising four criteria layers and 20 specific indicators is constructed from the dimensions of technical feasibility, economic benefits, social impact, and environmental protection. In terms of indicator processing, qualitative indicators are quantified using triangular fuzzy numbers combined with the Delphi expert survey method, while quantitative indicators are normalized.

Aims: Traditional risk factors do not fully characterize cardiovascular aging and are less helpful in assessing sex differences in cardiovascular risk. Using a novel cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) method, we determined sex differences in aortic global longitudinal strain (AOGLS) and ventriculoarterial coupling (VAC) with correlations to Framingham risk scores.

Methods And Results: Community older adults without cardiovascular disease underwent CMR.

Introduction: Assessment of left ventricular (LV) systolic function is important in valvular heart disease. The global LV contractility index, , is load-independent and has been reported to be associated with clinical outcomes in heart failure and aortic stenosis. We aim to assess if could predict adverse outcomes in patients with severe mitral regurgitation (MR).

Background: Right atrial pressure (RAP) is a key variable that cardiac MRI (CMR) cannot currently measure. We aimed to develop a model to estimate mean RAP (mRAP) using CMR and assess the prognostic value of CMR-derived mRAP in an independent patient cohort.

Methods: The derivation cohort consisted of patients investigated for heart failure symptoms with right heart catheterisation and CMR.

Chemotherapeutic efficacy in colorectal cancer (CRC) is significantly hindered by the development of drug resistance. Emerging evidence indicates that circular RNAs (circRNAs) play pivotal roles in various cancer-related biological processes. Nonetheless, the specific role of circRNAs in oxaliplatin resistance in CRC remains largely unexplored.

Copper (Cu)-based materials are promising for carbon-carbon bond (C─C) coupling catalysis, but they are limited to poor structural stability, high activation energy, and low selectivity toward C products. Here a customized synthetic protocol is defined for the fabrication of 2D ultrathin high-entropy rare earth (RE) oxides (HE-REOs) with rich lattice distortions and oxygen vacancies, which act as robust supports for anchoring Cu serial domains with tunable oxidation states. The rationally integrated HE-REOs-Cu heterostructures feature largely exposed synergistic multi-site driving rapid *CO spillover, and multiple stabilized Cu chimneys promoting cascade *CO coupling, together with intrinsic electron activation channels enabling RE 4f electron delocalization to lower the energy barrier.
