Introduction: In recent years, the impact of climate change on the economy and society has become increasingly significant, with depression emerging as a major factor hindering individuals' daily functioning and quality of life. Rural older adult, due to their low income and inadequate social security, face particularly prominent depressive symptoms. However, existing research has predominantly focused on developed countries, with insufficient attention paid to depressive disorders among rural older adult populations in China.

As the complexity of spacecraft operations in extreme space environments escalates, the development of a device that can simultaneously manage thermal radiation while maintaining transmission to visible light becomes critically important. Such devices not only effectively shield spacecraft against drastic temperature fluctuations but also preserve the necessary lighting conditions for visibility in both the internal and external environments of the spacecraft. To meet this need, we have engineered a lithography-free transparent smart radiation device (TSRD) based on a dielectric/metal/dielectric (D/M/D) structure and phase change material vanadium dioxide (VO).

Explicit aggression refers to the conscious tendency to display aggressive behavior while maintaining necessary self-control. Implicit aggression is an unconscious aggressive behavior shaped by past experiences that operates beyond an individual's control.

, a wild medicinal and edible Malvaceae species, lacked genomic data until now. In this study, we presented its first complete chloroplast genome (158,793 bp), featuring a quadripartite structure: 87,215 bp LSC, 20,766 bp SSC, and two 25,406 bp IRs. The genome contains 129 genes (85 protein-coding, 36 tRNA, 8 rRNA) with 37.

Dynamic density functional theory (DDFT) is a fruitful approach for modeling polymer dynamics, benefiting from its multiscale and hybrid nature. However, the Onsager coefficient, the only free parameter in DDFT, is primarily derived empirically, limiting the accuracy and broad application of DDFT. Herein, we propose a machine learning-based, bottom-up workflow to directly extract the Onsager coefficient from molecular simulations, circumventing partly heuristic assumptions in traditional approaches.

Existing learning-based remote sensing change detection (RSCD) commonly uses semantic-agnostic binary masks as supervision, which hinders their ability to distinguish between different semantic types of changes, resulting in a noisy change mask prediction. To address this issue, this paper presents a Language-guided semantic clustering framework that can effectively transfer the rich semantic information from the contrastive language-image pretraining (CLIP) model for RSCD, dubbed LSC-CD. The LSC-CD considers the strong zero-shot generalization of the CLIP, which makes it easy to transfer the semantic knowledge from the CLIP into the CD model under semantic-agnostic binary mask supervision.

This study aimed to determine necroptosis-associated genes in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and to investigate their potential as diagnostic and therapeutic targets for AIS. Expression profiling data were acquired from the Gene Expression Omnibus database, and necroptosis-associated genes were retrieved from GeneCards.

We report here a novel family of ylidic P-heteroarenes (P1-P6), structurally featuring unique phosphonium cyclopentadienylide (P-Cp)-fused π-skeletons and synthetically prepared via an unexpected one-pot [2+3]/[3+3] phospha-annulation reaction. While the facile and modular synthesis allows the fine-tuning of their optical absorptions and redox properties, single-crystallographic and theoretical analysis of these P-heteroarenes further reveal that the fusion of P-Cp moiety leads to substantial intramolecular charge-separated features with high ylidic character values of up to 84 %. Benefitted from such dipolar structures, these P-heteroarenes not only allows stepwise electrophilic substitution reaction for further structural π-expansions, but also exhibit excellent nonlinear optical (NLO) responses and optical limiting (OL) performances comparable to or exceed those of C.

Similar to other iron oxide compounds such as Ferumoxytol, it can also be used off-label as an intravascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent due to its strong iron-induced T2 and T2* shortening effects. In this study, we seek to evaluate the feasibility of using Iron Dextran enhanced multi-echo susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) MRI at 7T to image arterial and venous blood vessels in the human brain.

In metal smelting, precise temperature control is of vital importance for reaction rates, efficiency, and product quality. Traditional methods such as thermocouples have inherent limitations, but multispectral radiation thermometry (MRT) offers high resolution and reliability. This paper proposes a multispectral radiation thermometry platform featuring wireless data transmission, which enables remote data transfer and precise temperature measurements.

Continuous sign language recognition (CSLR) is to recognize the glosses in a sign language video. Enhancing the generalization ability of CSLR's visual feature extractor is a worthy area of investigation. In this paper, we model glosses as priors that help to learn more generalizable visual features.

In the measurement setup, a high-temperature radiation source and a beam reducer are employed to minimize the influence of background radiation. In order to differentiate between the transmitted and emitted radiation in the detection signal, the radiation signals from the radiation source are measured under four different conditions, enabling the calculation of transmissivity, emissivity, and reflectivity.

This study presents a fast and accurate data processing method for multispectral radiation thermometry that can accurately measure the true temperature of steel materials without requiring a priori emissivity model. The method generates a temperature matrix by inputting emissivity values at different wavelengths and selects a reference vector from the matrix. Then, it rearranges the temperature matrices at other wavelengths and calculates the Euclidean distance between each column element of the rearranged matrix and the reference vector.
