Background: B-cell lymphoma 6 (BCL6) is increasingly recognized as a driver of cancer progression; however, the precise molecular mechanisms by which BCL6 facilitates high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) progression remain incompletely understood.
Methods: In this study, immunohistochemical (IHC) staining was used to evaluate the expression of BCL6 and PLAAT4 in HGSOC tissues and normal tissues. Cleavage under targets and tagmentation (CUT&Tag) was combined with RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analyses to screen and identify the downstream regulatory mechanisms of BCL6.

The inflammasome is a cytoplasmic multiprotein complex that induces the maturation of the proinflammatory cytokines interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interleukin-18 (IL-18) or pyroptosis by activating caspases, which play critical roles in regulating inflammation, cell death, and various cellular processes. Multiple studies have shown that the inflammasome is a key regulator of the host defence response against pathogen infections. AFM observations show that when PILP droplets contact a surface, their initial properties are either a liquid with a high interfacial tension (350 mJ m) or a soft gel-like material with a low modulus (less than 0.2 MPa). These findings suggest that PILP may initially be liquid-like to infiltrate collagen fibrils, enabling the production of interpenetrating composites, and/or become viscoelastic, to provide a means for moulding minerals.

NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome is a cytoplasmic multiprotein complex composed of the innate immune receptor protein NLRP3, the adapter protein apoptosis-associate speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain (ASC), and the inflammatory protease cysteine-1. Pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) or other endogenous danger-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) activate the NLRP3 inflammasome. As part of the innate immune response, activated NLRP3 promotes GSDMD-dependent pyroptosis, and IL-1β and IL-18 are released during inflammation.
