Background: Evidence comparing longitudinal liver stiffness measurements (LSM) dynamics to on-treatment LSM for predicting clinical outcomes in patients receiving etiology therapy is limited.
Objective: This study aimed to assess the prognostic value of on-treatment LSM in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) receiving antiviral therapy.
Design: Patients with CHB and significant fibrosis or cirrhosis were included in this prospective cohort.
Longitudinal serological proteomic dynamics during antiviral therapy (AVT) in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients with liver fibrosis remain poorly characterized. Here, using four-dimensional data-independent acquisition mass spectrometry (4D-DIA-MS), paired liver biopsy (LBx)-proven serum samples from 130 CHB liver fibrosis patients undergoing short-term (78 weeks) or long-term (260 weeks) AVT are analyzed. Our findings show that prolonged AVT drives progressive serological proteomic remodeling in fibrosis regressors, characterized by a temporal inversion in the activation of the complement and coagulation cascades.

Methods: The non-PPIE group only received the enhanced recovery programs, while the PPIE group received additional postoperative pulmonary interventions, including the active cycle of breathing techniques, oscillatory positive expiratory pressure therapy, incentive spirometry training, and early mobilization, conducted by nurses.
Results: 656 patients with lung cancer were identified from January 2020 to December 2022.

Purpose: Patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) remain at risk for hepatocellular carcinoma during antiviral therapy. We aimed to clarify the values of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), lectin-reactive fraction of AFP (AFP-L3), and des-γ-carboxyprothrombin (DCP) for early warning of HCC.
Methods: A total of 1348 CHB patients received antiviral therapy and follow-up every 26 weeks.
Background/aims: Existing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) prediction models are derived mainly from pretreatment or early on-treatment parameters. We reassessed the dynamic changes in the performance of 17 HCC models in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) during long-term antiviral therapy (AVT).
Methods: Among 987 CHB patients administered long-term entecavir therapy, 660 patients had 8 years of follow-up data.
Numerous research studies have proved that lactate is pivotal in tumor proliferation, metastasis, and recurrence, so disrupting the lactate metabolism in the tumor microenvironment (TME) has become one of the effective methods of tumor treatment. Herein, we have developed a versatile nanoparticle (HCLP NP) based on hollow Prussian blue (HPB) as the functional carrier for loading α-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamate (CHC), and lactate oxidase (LOD), followed by coating with polyethylene glycol to enhance chemodynamic therapy (CDT) and the antimetastatic effect of cancer. The obtained HCLP NPs would be degraded under endogenous mild acidity within the TME to simultaneously release CHC and LOD.
