We present the case of a 59-year-old Chinese man diagnosed with stage III clear cell renal cell carcinoma who developed 2 suspicious lung lesions 5 years after follow-up. Pathological evaluation revealed 2 distinct types of cancer: lung adenocarcinoma in situ and clear cell renal carcinoma with lung metastasis. Lung tissue samples were sequenced using a panel of 1267 cancer-related genes.

Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a multifunctional wound dressing with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and pro-repair properties. In this study, an injectable and self-healing hydrogel was prepared using aminated gelatin and oxidised dextran as substrates.

Methods: Clinical data from six patients with renal CAML complicated by VTT and 18 with ccRCC complicated by VTT, treated at Peking University Third Hospital from April 2018 and June 2022, were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent preoperative ultrasound and contrast-enhanced CT.

Objectives: Periodontal ligament cells (PDLCs) are considered ideal seed cells for periodontal tissue engineering and regeneration, and optimizing their efficacy is a pressing challenge. Although basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) has been extensively studied for promoting periodontal regeneration, its instability limits its application. This study introduces a smaller, less degradable peptide, CH02, to address this issue.

Although oral administration is widely adopted due to its noninvasiveness and high patient compliance, the heterogeneity of the gastrointestinal environment severely limits the precise release and effective accumulation of drugs in the colon. Therefore, developing a new type of drug carrier system that can overcome physiological barriers and achieve colonic targeted delivery has become one of the core research directions in the field of ID therapy.

Advances in pan-genomes and enhanced capacity for analyzing structural variations have increasingly highlighted their role in rice genetic improvement. Transposable element (TE) variants have been previously reported to influence rice genomic diversity during the domestication, but their contribution to the improvement from landraces to improved varieties remains unclear.

Though meta-analysis mitigates these issues, its application in rice research remains limited. Here, we report a large-scale meta-analysis of six independent GWAS experiments in rice to mine genes for key agronomic traits.

Glycosylation, a prevalent post-translational modification in eukaryotic secreted and membrane-associated proteins, plays a pivotal role in diverse physiological and pathological processes. Although UDP-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc) is essential for this modification, the specific glycosylation mechanisms during plant leaf senescence and defense responses remain poorly understood. In our research, we identified a novel rice mutant named rbb1 (resistance to blast and bacterial blight1), exhibiting broad-spectrum disease resistance.

Studies have shown that the tonsils play a key role in the exacerbation and pathogenesis of certain diseases. This paper systematically summarizes the evidence supporting the close association between tonsils and PPP, and proposes mechanisms by which tonsils may contribute to the pathogenesis of PPP.

Their characteristics and contributions to gene expression and quantitative traits in rice are largely unknown. Here, we survey rice TR variations based on 231 genome assemblies and the rice pan-genome graph.

Here we assembled 232 chromosome-level genomes based on long-read sequencing data. Coupling the 232 genomes with 15 existing assemblies, we developed a pan-TE map comprising both cultivated and wild Asian rice.

However, the genetic mechanisms underlying AS and its role in controlling important agronomic traits in rice (Oryza sativa) remain poorly understood. In this study, we explored AS in rice leaves and panicles using the rice minicore collection.

PSMP is a damage-induced chemotactic cytokine that acts as a ligand of CCR2 and has an unknown role in AKI. We have observed a significant increase in PSMP levels in the renal tissue, urine, and plasma of patients with AKI.

There were no significant alterations detected in previous studies, including von Hippel-Lindau gene alterations, which are commonly associated with CNS-HB. This study aimed to determine the real molecular identity of renal HB and better understand its relationship with CNS-HB.

Objective: GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3) and forkhead box A1 (FOXA1) have been individually implicated in the progression of upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC). This study aims to evaluate the prognostic value of GATA3/FOXA1 co-expression in UTUC patients.
Methods: We collected 108 UTUC pathological tissue samples with complete follow-up data and 24 normal control urothelial tissues.
Background: Warthin-like Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) is a new and rare morphological variant of MEC, with only a few case reports in the literature. The clinicopathological, molecular features and bio-behaviors of Warthin-like MEC has not been studied extensively. We reappraisal all Warthin-like MEC patients diagnosed and treated at our hospital.
