Human alkyladenine DNA glycosylase (hAAG) is an important enzyme in the base excision repair (BER) pathway, and its abnormal expression is correlated with various human diseases. While several methods have been developed for hAAG detection, constructing low-background, highly sensitive, and high-throughput techniques remains a significant challenge. Herein, we introduce a highly sensitive and high-throughput platform for hAAG activity detection, utilizing quantum dots (QDs) as the signal sensitizer, the hybridization chain reaction (HCR) for signal amplification, and microplate wells for high-throughput analysis.

We have successfully developed P(NMe)-mediated reductive cyclopropanation, which provides a new, facile, and efficient protocol for the synthesis of cyclopropyl carbocyclic nucleosides, wherein the cyclopropyl group is linked to the nucleobase via a methylene group. This method utilizes safe, commercially available α-keto esters for metal-free cyclopropanation under mild conditions with high yield and diastereoselectivity, demonstrating broad applicability and practical utility in carbocyclic nucleoside synthesis.

As digital governance progresses rapidly, constructing digital portraits of residents has become instrumental in enhancing local-level administrative capabilities. Nonetheless, traditional K-means clustering algorithms struggle with the classification of high-dimensional and complex data, thereby limiting their effectiveness. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel hybrid algorithm-PSO-KM-that integrates Particle Swarm Optimization with K-means to improve both accuracy and computational efficiency in clustering resident profile data.

In this study, the effects of groupelement doping and the inter-wall coupling mechanism on the transport properties of double-walled silicon carbide (SiC) nanotubes are systematically investigated. The results indicate that doping with,, andenhances the conductivity of double-walled SiC nanotubes (SiCNTs) by increasing the carrier concentration, with boron doping exhibiting the most significant improvement. By comparing the electrical conductivity, carrier concentration, and mobility in group-doped single- and double-walled SiCNTs (DWSiCNT), it is found that inter-wall coupling enhances carrier concentration in DWSiCNTs, with a more pronounced effect observed when the inner wall is doped.

Meat flavor production faces challenges of flavor instability from volatile Maillard reaction products (MRPs) and off-flavors from excessive high-temperature lipid oxidation (>140 °C). To address this, Maillard-lipid interaction system was established via the mixture containing Amadori rearrangement product, 2-threityl-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid and amino acids, named MRIs, and enzymatically hydrolyzed-oxidized chicken fat (EHOC) to elucidate their interaction mechanism and develop optimized chicken meat flavor. General analysis towards the flavor compounds derived from the MRIs suggested that higher temperature at 120 °C was more favorable for meat flavor formation.

Background: Photodynamic inactivation (PDI) is an emerging non-thermal strategy for microbial control in food systems. However, few natural pigments are capable of generating both type I and type II reactive oxygen species (ROS), which limits their broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy.
Results: This study identified yam pigment (YP) as a dual-type ROS photosensitizer that can produce both singlet oxygen and free radicals under 450-nm blue light.

This study deciphers the γ-carboxyl group's pivotal role in controlling pyrazine formation during thermal degradation of glutamic acid-derived Amadori rearrangement product (ARP). Integrated density functional theory (DFT) and pH-controlled experiments revealed γ-carboxyl deprotonation (pK = 4.29) initiates electronic effects that activate the amino group's nucleophilic capacity (-NH₃ to -NH₂-like reactivity) remotely through orbital polarization and highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy elevation (-1.

Appropriate CO adsorption and facile C-C coupling are the core factors in the electro-reduction of CO into multicarbon (C) products. Diatomic catalysts possess the capability to precisely modulate the adsorption intensity of intermediates at two distinct active sites, which in turn effectively decreases the overpotential required for C-C coupling reactions. The first-principles study investigates the mechanism and activity of the CORR on M/Cu-NG (M = Zn, Pd, Sn, Ag, or Au).

In this paper the global dynamic characteristics of a piecewise smooth rotor/stator rubbing system with high speed, which significantly differs from those of a low-speed system, are explored by numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. A sigmoid function is utilized to smoothen the governing equations, enabling the derivation and validation of bifurcation diagrams, as well as corresponding orbits, full spectra and Poincaré sections for both periodic and quasi-periodic motions. Additionally, the frequency relations of the quasi-periodic motions are determined.

Monitoring SF decomposition gases has emerged as a vital diagnostic technique for evaluating insulation conditions and identifying faults in SF-based electrical equipment. This study comprehensively explores the adsorption properties and sensing capabilities of a Pd-doped InSe (Pd-InSe) monolayer for SF decomposition gases, including SO, SOF, and SOF, through density functional theory calculations. The Pd-InSe monolayer is constructed by substituting one Se atom with a Pd atom in the pristine InSe structure.

The stability of flooded coal pillars has long been a challenging issue in coal pillar research, especially during the recovery of production after water inrush disasters. Due to the harsh on-site conditions, it is difficult to directly collect samples for analysis, which brings numerous challenges in both design and production. Based on the engineering background of the 1314 working face of Xiaoyun Coal Mine, this paper proposes a clustering optimization algorithm and successfully uses microseismic data collected on-site to identify the boundary of the flooded coal pillar, validating the results through simulation comparisons.

Lateral flow assays (LFAs) offer a simple and rapid option for diagnosis, widely utilized for point-of-care or at-home testing. However, they often suffer from low sensitivity and high false positive owing to the single output signal. Herein, we developed a dual-mode colorimetry/fluorescence LFA via employing a novel net-like nanprobe as a reporter tag, which was obtained by coupling the fluorescent microspheres (FMs) with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs).

This study utilized electrospinning to create in situ composite layers of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polylactic acid (PLA) films. Through molecular grafting, the antimicrobial photoinitiator 3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (BD) was anchored to the PVA surface, followed by chlorogenic acid (CA) attachment, forming a composite film with rechargeable photodynamic properties. Scanning electron microscopy showed that the nanofiber structure remained intact post-grafting, while nuclear magnetic resonance confirmed successful bonding of BD and CA with PVA.

Rock burst is a complex geological disaster caused by numerous factors in underground engineering construction, it is necessary to take measures to reduce disaster losses caused by rock burst under high crustal stress environment. In this paper, a model for risk prediction of rock burst is proposed based on intuitionistic fuzzy set theory. Considering the internal and external driving factors affecting rock burst, the uniaxial compressive strength [Formula: see text], uniaxial tensile strength [Formula: see text], maximum tangential stress [Formula: see text], burial depth H, brittleness index [Formula: see text], stress coefficient [Formula: see text], and elastic strain energy index [Formula: see text] were selected as the indices to analyze the risk of rock burst.

Plant-based meat analogs (PBMAs) are promising substitutes for balancing the global supply and demand of meat products. The urgent necessity of a meat-like flavor becomes prominent owing to the aroma and taste defects of plant-based meat analogs, which restricts the desire for consumption. As significant Maillard reaction intermediates, Amadori rearrangement products (ARPs) are key flavor precursors that contribute to the required flavor compounds and taste properties; flavor replication in PBMAs is expected.
