The emergence of antimicrobial resistance poses significant challenges in conventional antibiotic treatments for chronic wound infections, highlighting an urgent need for alternative therapeutic strategies. To address this issue, we developed a multifunctional electrospun nanofiber dressing co-loaded with anthocyanin (ATH) and asiaticoside (AS) that possesses antimicrobial activity. The tri-layer dressing contains three functional components: a hydrophilic polyacrylonitrile-anthocyanin (PAN-ATH) layer for pH monitoring, a hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) layer for exudate management, and a water-soluble pullulan-Bletilla striata polysaccharide-asiaticoside (PUL-BSP-AS) layer.

Methods: The PCAT database was utilized to analyze the mRNA levels and survival probabilities of m1A regulator genes (TRMT6, TRMT61A, ALKBH1, and ALKBH3) in neuroblastoma patients.
The TCA cycle is a central pathway for oxidative phosphorylation in eukaryotic mitochondria, plays a role in energy production and biosynthesis, and can alter cellular function in a variety of ways. As our understanding of the TCA cycle has improved, there is increasing evidence that it is inextricably linked to lung disease. This article summarizes the relationship between the TCA cycle and different types of lung disease and focuses on the specific mechanisms by which the TCA cycle and its intermediate metabolites influence lung disease progression.

1,3-dilinoleoyl-2-palmitoylglycerol (LPL) is an important structural lipid in breast milk fat, which plays an important role in the health of infants, and therefore the development of an efficient method for the preparation of such compounds is necessary. In the present study, LPL was efficiently catalytically synthesized by immobilized lipase ANL-MARE as a biocatalyst using tripalmitate and linoleic acid in a solvent-free system, and its digestive properties were investigated. The optimal process conditions for the enzymatic acidolysis of LPL were optimized by response surface test: the molar ratio of PPP:LA was 1:10, the enzyme addition was 13.

This study investigates the impacts of gestational exposure to ozone (1 ppm) and heat (34°C) under real-world conditions on fetal and placental development in C57BL/6 J mice, with a particular focus on the role of maternal hepatic lipid metabolism. Pregnant mice were exposed from gestational day (GD) 0 to GD17.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have emerged as valuable biomarkers for the identification of forensic body fluids due to their stability and tissue specificity. However, the limited quantity of body fluid at crime scenes often hampers the accuracy of miRNA-based detection methods. In this study, we developed a triplex reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) assay system that enables the simultaneous detection of three miRNAs, improving throughput and efficiency while overcoming challenges in forensic investigations.

Mutations in PPP2R1A, encoding the scaffolding subunit, are linked to intellectual disability, although the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study examined mice with heterozygous deletion of Ppp2r1a in forebrain excitatory neurons (NEX-het-conditional knockout [NEX-het-cKO]).

Background: Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) is utilized to assess the therapeutic efficacy of interventional therapy in liver cancer patients, offering insights into tumor blood flow changes, angiogenesis, and tumor markers.
Aim: To evaluate the use of CEUS in examining the effectiveness of interventional therapy for liver cancer, we aim to investigate its diagnostic utility for tumor perfusion patterns, microvessel density, perfusion recovery, blood flow enhancement response, and alterations in tumor markers among patients receiving interventional therapy for liver cancer.
Methods: The study involved 124 patients who underwent interventional therapy for liver cancer at Guangzhou First People's Hospital from January 2022 to February 2024.

Background: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) combined with abdominal breathing in rehabilitating postpartum perineal oedema and Serum IL-6, IL-10, TNF-a.
Methods: A total of 172 primiparous women who delivered in our hospital between January 2022 and June 2023 were randomly assigned to either the observation group (n=86) or the control group (n=86). The control group received routine midwifery care, while the observation group received additional MLD and abdominal breathing training.
Fatigue is one of the most common and distressing symptoms in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This study applied MICT, EFT and their combination (MICT and EFT) to COPD patients with fatigue through factorial design analysis method, aiming to explore non-drug management strategies that are more conducive to relieving fatigue in COPD patients. This study had a total of 112 participants.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill leachate have emerged as a critical research focus because of their substantial environmental and health risks. However, the fate and transformation of PFAS across different treatment processes, particularly within specific techniques such as biotreatment, remains understudied in current research. This study systematically investigated the occurrence, fate, and removal of PFAS in a full-scale MSW landfill leachate treatment system in Shanghai, China.

Ferroptosis, an iron-dependent programmed cell death pathway, has emerged as a promising therapeutic target for cancer. Herein, a series of naphthoquinone derivatives were designed via scaffold-leaping optimization from lead compound QD394, synthesized and assessed for their anti-proliferation activity against five cancer cell lines, and the structure-activity relationship (SAR) were described. Of these compounds, I-21 was identified as most active, demonstrating significant anticancer efficacy in vitro (IC = 0.

However, conventional CT imaging poses significant challenges due to the low contrast of sacral and bilateral hip tissues and the complex and highly similar intervertebral space structures within the lumbar spine. To address these challenges, we propose a general-purpose segmentation network that integrates a cross-scale feature fusion strategy with a linear self-attention mechanism.
