Background: Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) exhibits marked heterogeneity, with relational (R; interpersonal) and nonrelational (NR; environmental) trauma subtypes demonstrating distinct psychopathological trajectories. Despite clinical recognition of these differences, their neurobiological underpinnings of emotion processing remain poorly understood. Guided by the Nested Hierarchical Model of Self (NHMS) - which posits trauma-type-specific disruptions in hierarchical self-processing systems - this study investigated neural mechanisms differentiating among PTSD subtypes during implicit emotion regulation.

However, they also encounter substantial issues including sluggish ion kinetics, substantial volume changes, and interfacial instability during cycling. In this study, a GDY/SnO/GDY heterostructured anode is fabricated using a grid encapsulation strategy, where SnO nanoparticles are dispersed within a framework of graphdiyne (GDY) nanowalls.

Methods: We performed an integrated transcriptomic analysis utilizing both bulk and single-nucleus RNA sequencing data derived from hearts exhibiting AF and those in sinus rhythm.
The Autographa californica multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) LEF-6 has been shown to accelerate the infection cycle of AcMNPV, but its specific function is yet to be defined. In the present study, we identify LEF-6 as an RNA-binding protein that preferentially interacts with viral late transcripts. We demonstrate that the N-terminal half of LEF-6, which contains two typical ribonucleoprotein (RNP) motifs, is responsible for RNA binding, but its C-terminal half is required for the binding specificity to viral RNAs and for fulfilling its function in promoting virus infection.

A 24-crown-8 ring is sufficiently small that the side chains of canonical branched amino acids act as barriers that trap the macrocycle on the particular glycine residue used to assemble the rotaxane. The resulting crown ether-tripeptide rotaxane can subsequently be extended from either or both N- and C-termini of the axle.

However, it remains unclear whether diabetes status affects the association between the TyG index and the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). The aim of this study is to systematically evaluate the relationship between the TyG index and MACEs among CHD patients with different diabetes statuses.

Electrolyte additives enhance SEI performance for fast charging and long cycle life but introduce system-level uncertainties, including cathode degradation, safety hazards, and cost escalation. In this study, we prepare a composite electrode (BPQDs/GDYNTs) featuring a charge-separated interface structure to improve the SEI directly without auxiliary additives.

By correlating chromatin accessibility with gene expression, we identified cell-type-specific candidate -regulatory elements (CREs).

Urogenital involvement is relatively uncommon. In particular, penile neurofibromatosis is exceedingly rare, with fewer than 20 cases documented globally.

Recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rtPA) was the first FDA-approved thrombolytic drug for AIS. However, delayed administration of rtPA exacerbates brain injury and increases the risk of hemorrhagic transformation (HT) and mortality.

Internet-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (iACT) offers a promising, scalable intervention format for individuals with bipolar disorder (BD), yet its feasibility and preliminary efficacy remain underexplored. This pilot randomized controlled trial evaluated the acceptability, feasibility, and initial efficacy of a 7-day self-guided iACT program delivered via a secure, mobile-responsive platform. Seventy individuals were screened, of whom 60 clinically stable adults with BD (aged 18-60) met eligibility criteria and were randomized to either the iACT group (n = 30) or an active control group receiving digital psychoeducation (n = 30), yielding a recruitment rate of 85.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has emerged as a promising treatment for drug-resistant bacterial infections by avoiding the abuse of antibiotics. However, most PDTs rely on reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated a type II process, which limits the antimicrobial effect in a hypoxic microenvironment. Herein, we reported phycocyanin functionalized selenium nanoparticles (Se@PC NPs) for type I photodynamic antibacterial therapy and wound healing.

Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) often leads to persistent cognitive and emotional symptoms, but the underlying neurobiological mechanisms remain unclear. Although previous studies have reported alterations in resting-state brain activity in mTBI patients, the findings have been inconsistent, and the genetic basis of these changes has not been fully explored. A coordinate-based voxel-wise meta-analysis was conducted to investigate resting-state brain activity changes in mTBI, using nine datasets from 374 patients and 302 healthy controls (HCs).

For chromosome abnormalities (CA), such as Down syndrome (DS), the influence of genomic variations to chromosome conformation and gene transcription remains elusive. Based on the complete genomic sequence from the parents of the DS trisomy patient, we systematically delineated an atlas of parental-specific haploid single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), copy number variation (CNV), three-dimensional (3D) genome, and RNA expression profiles of the diencephalon in the DS patient. The integrated haploid multi-omics analysis demonstrated that one-dimensional genomic variations including SNPs and CNVs in the DS patient are highly correlated with the alterations of the 3D genome and the subsequent gene transcription.

Developing high damping alloys (HDAs) with large elastic strain has attracted growing attention due to the increasing demand for energy absorption with overload reliability and reusability. However, damping capacity inherently conflicts with elasticity, because the former requires a liable movement of crystal defects while the latter opposite. To deal with the damping-elasticity paradox, the advantage of pseudobinary eutectic reaction and rapid cooling of laser powder bed fusion is taken to fabricate a bulk NiTiSn nanocomposite with a two-level hierarchical structure.

Imidacloprid (IMI) is the first neonicotinoid pesticide with documented associations to substantial harm in multiple organs, notably impacting spermatogenesis in the reproductive system. Given the inevitable exposure to pesticides like IMI through dietary sources, employing dietary interventions to counteract the spermatogenic system damage caused by IMI exposure is a promising approach. Glycine (Gly), an amino acid abundantly found in various dietary sources, has been observed to be diminished in rat individuals exposed to IMI.

Herein, we report a novel uranyl-based organic-inorganic hybrid dosimeter, designated as U-OX-PIP. Remarkably, U-OX-PIP exhibits UV/X-ray-induced fluorescence quenching responses, which are characterized by a gradual suppression of the uranyl emission signature. The pronounced fluorescence quenching behavior of U-OX-PIP enables its application as a highly sensitive radiation-responsive material.
