Accurate quantification of rivaroxaban concentration is essential in some specific clinical situations. A prospective study was conducted to compare the rivaroxaban concentration measured by Zhenyuan anti-Xa assay with that by reference methods (ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry [UHPLC-MS/MS] and Biophen DiXal) in 243 plasma samples from 182 patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Zhenyuan anti-Xa assays demonstrated less bias versus reference methods in samples with concentrations exceeding 50 μg/L compared to those in the < 50 μg/L group.

This study aimed to develop and validate a diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI)-based clinical-radiomics nomogram for predicting early neurological deterioration in patients with ischemic stroke without large vessel occlusion or hemorrhagic transformation undergoing intravenous thrombolysis.
Methods: A total of 273 patients with stroke were randomly divided into training (n = 192) and validation (n = 81) cohorts at a ratio of 7:3.
Background: Rivaroxaban, a Non-vitamin K oral anticoagulant (NOAC), is extensively employed for patients at heightened risk of thrombosis, including those with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) and venous thromboembolism (VTE). However, to date, there is a lack of robust clinical data to explore the efficacy and safety of rivaroxaban in thromboprophylaxis during the early postoperative period (<6 months) in patients following surgical bioprosthetic valve (BPV).
Methods: The REVERSE trial is a prospective, multicenter, non-inferior, randomized controlled trial enrolling a planned 250 patients in China.
Background: The CRC-VTE trial conducted in China revealed a significant occurrence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients following colorectal cancer (CRC) surgery, raising concerns about implementing thromboprophylaxis measures. The present study aimed to identify and analyze inappropriate aspects of current thromboprophylaxis practices.
Methods: This study performed an analysis of the CRC-VTE trial, a prospective multicenter study that enrolled 1836 patients who underwent CRC surgery.
Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) significantly affects the prognosis of surgical patients with inguinal hernia. The complex Caprini score, commonly used for postoperative VTE risk assessment, poses practical challenges for surgeons in clinical settings.
Methods: The CHAT-3 trial, a prospective, multicenter, randomized controlled trial, compared a simple three-factor model to assess VTE risk against routine practices in postinguinal hernia surgery (IHS) patients.
Cyanogramide (AC14), a novel alkaloid, isolated from the fermentation broth of the marine-derived Actinoalloteichus cyanogriseus. However, the exact role of AC14 in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is poorly understood. Our results demonstrated that AC14 exhibited significant inhibition of IL-6 release in THP-1 cells and a "Caco-2/THP-1" coculture system after stimulation with LPS for 24 h.

Aim: This study aimed to develop a novel machine learning (ML) model to predict HTPR in Chinese patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Method: This cohort study collected information on 507 patients taking clopidogrel.
Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common arrhythmia that requires anticoagulation therapy to prevent stroke. However, there is still a significant under-/over-treatment in stroke prevention for patients with AF. The adherence and the risk of bleeding associated with oral anticoagulation therapy (OACs) are major concerns.

Background: Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are increasingly recommended over warfarin in stroke prevention for patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (AF). However, there is an important evidence gap in choosing the most appropriate DOAC for Chinese patients in clinical practice.
Methods: A multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) was adopted to build a scoring framework.

Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a common and serious complication after colorectal cancer (CRC) surgery. Few large-sample studies have reported VTE incidence and management status after CRC surgery in China. This study aimed to investigate the incidence and prevention of VTE in Chinese patients after CRC surgery, identify risk factors for developing VTE, and construct a new scoring system for clinical decision-making and care planning.

Methods: MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases were systematically searched from 01 July 2020 to 28 February 2022 to update a previous systematic review with the same search strategy from the inception to 30 June 2020. Eligible studies were those that reported effectiveness (stroke/systemic embolism and myocardial infarction) or safety (gastrointestinal or major bleeding and death) outcomes of off-label doses of DOACs compared to on-label doses in AF patients.

Background: The accuracy of current prediction tools for venous thromboembolism (VTE) events following hernia surgery remains insufficient for individualized patient management strategies. To address this issue, we have developed a machine learning (ML)-based model to dynamically predict in-hospital VTE in Chinese patients after hernia surgery.
Methods: ML models for the prediction of postoperative VTE were trained on a cohort of 11 305 adult patients with hernia from the CHAT-1 trial, which included patients across 58 institutions in China.
To simulate the growth trend of diabetes mellitus in Chinese population. The system dynamic modeling methodology was used to establish a population prediction model of diabetes with or without cardiovascular diseases. Lifestyle therapy and the use of metformin, acarbose, and voglibose were assumed to be intervention strategy.

Aim: Non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOACs) were developed as an alternative to warfarin to prevent thromboembolism in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF), prosthetic heart valves, venous thromboembolism (VTE), or other thrombotic disorders. The aim of this study is to explore the trends in prescribing OACs, including warfarin and NOACs, in Shanghai, China.
Methods: Prescription data of OACs were retrospectively collected from Rx Analysis System from 2010 to 2020 in Shanghai, China.
Background: We aim to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) as monotherapy and in combination with methotrexate (MTX) in active rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Methods: Medline, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library were systematically searched to identify relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Pooled analysis was conducted using random-effects model, along with the risk difference (RD) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs).
Background: The best anticoagulation choice for patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) with indications of oral anticoagulation (OAC) remains uncertain. We carried out a comprehensive analysis adopting updated evidence that investigated the efficacy and safety of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) versus vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) in this population.
Methods: A systematic search has been conducted through PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library to collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and real-world studies comparing the therapy outcomes of DOACs with VKAs in patients undergoing TAVR with indications of OAC up to Dec 2021.
