Thermal camouflage technologies manipulate heat fluxes to conceal objects from thermographic detection, offering potential solutions for thermal management in high-power-density electronics. Most reported approaches are aimed at scenarios where the target is not a heat source; however, any target with a non-zero temperature emits thermal radiation described by the Stefan-Boltzmann law since the thermal radiation of an object is proportional to the fourth power of its temperature (T). To address this issue, this study proposes a thermal camouflage device that considers the influence of radiative thermal transfer from the target.

The determination of ion doping sites, doping amounts, and changes in the crystal and magnetic structures are fundamental and crucial issues that remain unclear in cation doped LiV(PO) (LVP) cathode for lithium-ion batteries. This study employed X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Rietveld refinements, Al/Li/V/P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) measurements, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations to investigate the doping sites and amounts of Al, the long-range and short-range crystal structures, the electronic structure, and the possible changes in magnetism in a series of LiV2(1)Al(PO)/reduced graphene oxide composites (LVAP/C). The results demonstrate that the practical doping sites and amounts of Al, as well as the crystal and electronic structures, and magnetic characteristics, are affected by different ranges of Al doping amounts.

Herein, we investigated the effects of liver NK cells on liver allograft tolerance by using liver NK cells and allogeneic spleen T cell co-culture in vitro experiments and the rat orthotopic liver transplantation model. CD8 T cells exhibited higher apoptotic rate and up-regulated expression of CD95 molecules when co-cultured with allogeneic liver NK cells in vitro, indicating that liver NK cells might induce the apoptosis of CD8 T cells via CD95 in vitro.

This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) with paclitaxel combined with S-1 and oxaliplatin (SOX) in the treatment of GCPM.
Methods: Patients with pathologically confirmed primary gastric adenocarcinoma and laparoscopy-confirmed peritoneal metastasis were enrolled and randomized to receive either HIPEC plus SOX (HIPEC group) or SOX alone (SOX group).
Bongkrekic acid (BA) toxin, produced by Burkholderia gladioli pathovar cocovenenans bacteria, has been implicated in foodborne illness outbreaks. Alloying-type materials are promising anodes for sodium storage due to high specific capacities and appropriate redox potentials, but their practical application is impeded by rapid capacity decay from volume change during sodium ion insertion/extraction. Hence, a dual-type N-doped carbon-confined antimony (Sb) nanoparticle (Sb@DNC, where DNC contains an outer N-doped carbon armor and an inner N-doped grid-like carbon skeleton) anode material is fabricated via a self-sacrificial etching strategy to address this challenge. Specifically, the dual-type N-doped carbon matrix can prevent the agglomeration and precipitation of Sb particles, increase a large number of reactive active sites, alleviate severe volume expansion/contraction, and construct a highly interconnected electron/ion transport network.

Negatively charged AuNRs were synthesized by modifying AuNRs with polystyrene sulfonate (PSS) firstly, which can bind to Ru(bpy) through electrostatic interaction so that the luminophore was absorbed by the acceptor, the resonance energy transfer occurred and only low ECL signal had been detected. Thiocholine can be produced by the hydrolysis process of acetylthiocholine (ATCh) with the help of acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which can bond with PSS-modified AuNRs (PSS-AuNRs) through gold-sulfur interaction, this caused the releasing of the adsorbed Ru(bpy) into the solution and resulting in the restoration of the ECL intensity.

Large volume strain and slow kinetics are the main obstacles to the application of high-specific-capacity alloy-type metal tellurides in potassium-ion storage systems. Herein, BiTe nanocrystals with abundant Te-vacancies embedded in nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanofibers (BiTe@NPCNFs) are proposed to address these challenges. In particular, a hierarchical porous fiber structure can be achieved by the polyvinylpyrrolidone-etching method and is conducive to increasing the Te-vacancy concentration.

The most significant technical challenges of current aerial image object-detection tasks are the extremely low accuracy for detecting small objects that are densely distributed within a scene and the lack of semantic information. Moreover, existing detectors with large parameter scales are unsuitable for aerial image object-detection scenarios oriented toward low-end GPUs.
