This study delves into the time-varying causal relationship between housing prices (HP) and entrepreneurial vitality (EV) in China, employing a rolling-window sub-sample testing approach. The findings reveal that HP exerts both positive and negative influences on EV across different sub-samples. Specifically, when wealth effects dominate, HP positively impacts EV, acting as a promoter.

Multi-layer multi-pass welding plays an important role in manufacturing industries such as nuclear power plants, pressure vessel manufacturing, and ship building. The aim was to propose a machine vision system for monitoring and surface quality evaluation during multi-pass welding using a line scanner and infrared camera sensors.

Cerebral blood flow changes and their genetic mechanisms in autism spectrum disorder: a combined neuroimaging and transcriptome study.

Background: Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a disorder with high heritability, is linked to abnormal cerebral blood flow (CBF) in patients. The present study focuses on exploring the genetic mechanisms behind CBF in ASD.

Methods: A total of 34 children with ASD and 31 typically developing (TD) children were examined to find the inter - group differences in CBF.

Materials And Methods: The research enrolled 238 patients who underwent total gastrectomy and esophagojejunal Roux-en-Y anastomosis for gastric cancer between January 2017 and June 2022 in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University and retrospectively collected clinical data of the patients. Multivariable logistic regression was used to explore the risk factors of EJAL and a nomogram based on the results was constructed.

Background: Evidence of socioeconomic status (SES)-related health inequality is scarce in patients with cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) who need both lifestyle change and medical care, particularly in developing countries.

Methods: The study employed a nationwide population-based cohort design, covering all 31 provinces of Chinese mainland from September 2014 to March 2021. Participants aged 35-75 years with self-reported CVD diagnoses were included.

Spontaneous clearance of hepatitis B virus (HBV) is frequent in adults (95%) but rare in infants (5%), emphasizing the critical role of age-related hepatic immunocompetence. However, the underlying mechanisms of hepatocyte-specific immunosurveillance and age-dependent HBV clearance remain unclear. Here, we identified PGLYRP2 as a hepatocyte-specific pattern recognition receptor with age-dependent expression, and demonstrated that phase separation of PGLYRP2 was a critical driver of spontaneous HBV clearance in hepatocytes.

In this study, we initially identified forkhead box F1 (FOXF1) as a potential prognostic biomarker of ovarian cancer through bioinformatics analysis. FOXF1 expression was higher in ovarian cancer tissue samples and served as an unfavorable prognostic factor.

Objective: The objective of this study was to determine whether insulin resistance (IR) could be used as a predictor of poor prognosis at 3 months after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).

Methods: The study included patients aged 18 years or older with a confirmed diagnosis of SAH due to ruptured aneurysm from January 2021 to March 2024. Patients with confirmed diabetes mellitus and taking glucose-lowering drugs, or taking lipid-lowering drugs, or SAH not due to ruptured aneurysm, or comorbid systemic diseases were excluded.

This study aimed to analyze the results of auditory and vestibular function tests in patients with unilateral vestibular schwannoma and explore their association with tumor size. Clinical data from 81 patients diagnosed with unilateral vestibular schwannoma who underwent pure-tone audiometry（PTA）, cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials（c/oVEMP）, as well as video head impulse test（vHIT）, and subsequently underwent surgical treatment, were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were categorized into groups based on tumor size: small （≤ 15 mm）, medium（16-30 mm）, and large （>30 mm）, determined by the maximum tumor diameter on contrast-enhanced MRI scans.
